I just want an answer to one of the topics that has been on my mind for years. I started having these questions a few years ago in my history class at school. I knew this world wasn't a good place to live in when I was younger, but it wasn't until my history teacher went over these problems when I knew how bad this was. I remember that day when he gave the class a list of statistics about world hunger. It was really surprising. It made me question why I never hear any things like this happening in the world. I don't usually her these things on the news.

I don't understand. I feel so confused. Why are there so many people in other countries starving to death when here in America we have the opposite (have you not seen Super Size Me movie)? Why are some people rich and some poor? Why does poverty exist?

The most important question: What can we do about it?
