Hey, Alpha! Welcome back! We "old-timers" are still around for the most part, but a lot of us only come on occasionally. I really miss the good old days when we'd all have our crazy conversations and debates :)
I'm doing quite well, thanks! Filling my days with college upgrading and my evenings with my boyfriend and a kids program at my church! What have you been up to?
Grazie! to ya John n Sarah :) Im decent :P as always nothing overly exciting :P i graduated and have been bumming it the past few weeks meh getting hired aint a piece of cake :P so im considering some extra 'schooling' mostly for fun :P so thats what im doing! crazy as always!
what can i say, im always up for causing trouble! =P
yeah in the summer i do arbor and landscape work, but theres not many ppl wanting trees cut down and yards mowed in an Ohioan winter haha so im contemplating a few different career choices, but ive got some personal life situations that im kinda waiting to see where they take me first so ill know the most prudent path from there.
Hey Alpha, nice to meet you :) I guess I'm about a year old on the forum here. Congrats on graduating! I am currently preparing for college...turns out I have to take the SAT, but the test day is two days before school starts. :/ They might let it slide, they might not, either way I still plan on going spring or fall.
There are different grades or levels I guess, at least when I took it. There is EMT-B (which is basic), EMT-I (intermediate) and then paramedic. EMT-I and paramedic require more training and by law are allowed to do other things that a EMT-B cant do.
The climb is about 4ooo'. Not too ba if you take Super Trail the first leg, but I like Olb Baldy trail, which will take you to the top in about 3 1/2 hours. type in Mt. Wrightston, AZ in google and look at some pics, pretty nice on a clear day.

We made it through 12/21/12, Alpha :P
You, sir, are the oldest member, i believe that still is on here.
KingsKid, PHBOI, Sarah and I all came around the same time.
But from what i remember, you were here starting debates long before we came ;P
Good to see you're doing well (besides the no job, that sucks, but God is in control. He has a plan, just allow it happen!)
Well, I'm gonna go hike a mountain (literally lol).
Talk to you all soon. God touch and bless all of your lives.

Welcome back!!! I also got my EMT cert as well, seems to be quite a few of us on here haha.
Japlace - 1/3/13 @ 9:41 PM
Nice!
Anything new with the personal life situation?
And I climbed Mt. Wrightson. (9,453 ft), third time, but different every time.
@Ryan, my buddy got his last year. Along with a Fire Science certificate. Lots of people getting this stuff! Good to hear.
Sarah - 1/5/13 @ 10:21 AM
Is an EMT like a paramedic?
KingsKid2 - 1/6/13 @ 10:06 AM
EMT, that would be so interesting. I want to do some first aid training. Presuming that EMT means Emergency Medical Technician. ;)

9000 feet is some pretty nice altitude! did it have a good base to peak distance?
Yeah EMT's get to carry the bags and gurneys :P paramedics get to stick you with needles lol
nice to meet you as well, Elena. Good luck on the test
