I'm fine. Just finished first quarter of community collage and can't wait for Thanksgiving. I feel i was distant from God but i feel i'm now getting back in my groove.

Things are pretty good with me :) Been busy working and now getting ready for the holidays! Looking forward to a good friend visiting for Thanksgiving. @gabriella sorry to hear about your foot :( I hope it feels better very soon!

Holidays, yes. I'm looking forward to those as well. :) It does seem that Christmas is coming really fast this year. Are you guys all done with Christmas shopping yet? I'm definitely early with this sort of thing. I'm pretty much done myself. ;)

I've been busy with music and now preparing for Christmas recitals.

I haven't even started my Christmas shopping!! Every year I tell myself I will get to it early, but never do. Lol. I have an idea though what I want to get people. However, this year I've decided not to go all out. I just want to spend time with family, friends and focus on what's important. :)

Hi, Kingskid. I am doing well. I had a Girls Fellowship night last Friday and had an Alice in Wonderland tea party. One of the leaders purchased each of the girls a cute teacup. We also had an arts and crafts activity. Furthermore, I have found desires in my heart and found things I was passionate about. I am a junior in high school and it's a season in life where I am wondering about what I want to do in the future.
How about you? How are you doing?

Keep trusting in the Lord. Proverbs 3:5-7 is a great passage to think on during a time of wondering and decision. God will guide you!

My life has been all kinds of weird, but my own dealings pale in comparison to my two best friends, both of whom are non-Christian (much to my lament).
My first best friend, Ben, is a British soldier who's been serving for about a decade since he enlisted at 18. Some point early in his career he was assigned bodyguard detail to a Saudi Arabian princess, who promptly fell in love with him. The feelings were mutual, and apparently pretty deep. So when they had to break it off to spare each others' lives, they were both in agreement.
Fast forward to two months ago. Ben contacts me saying that she's been engaged and he's pretty heartbroken. Over the course of the next month the situation goes from about to go take her out of Saudi Arabia to her picking the guy she was semi-forced to get engaged to to finally, the engagement never happening.
I'm still waiting for the end of that story, but Ben is pretty important to me. He's what you would call a naysmith, a counterpoint to my ideas so that I don't get too arrogant as well as making sure everything is well thought through. I'm obviously a bit of moral support to him as well, if I wasn't he wouldn't have shared all of that with me.
Secondly there is Tananda. So a while after I move away from her and my old town, I get a message from her, asking how should she tell her parents that she's dating someone. This is much to my surprise, as much like myself she hasn't dated at all, prefering to wait for someone worth her time. As more of the situation is revealed to me, she is scared not because she is dating someone but because she is dating another girl.
I care about Tananda, so my first response is that things are going to be alright. She understands that I don't support the relationship because of my beliefs, but I also can't control her actions and that I will try to take care of her as best I can. I still talk to her to this day, thankfully, trying to be a good example of Christ while being her friend.
