Well i don't know why but sometimes it is so hard for me to speak openly about God. I don't deny Him or anything like that its just so hard to elaborate...I mean i know what i want to say and i'm about to say it but it just doesn't come out of my mouth and in the end i feel so disgusted with myself for staying quiet... I need some advice or some encouraging words...

I have trouble to. I dont quite know how to share my beliefs without scaring people off. Im not scared that they wont like me, or think I'm weird, I'm scared that I will not be able to explain what I believe rightly and they will just chalk me up to crazy and ignore the truth. I guess its not my job to convince, but like especially with acquaintances, like when they start asking questions, I dont know how to share the truth with them without them feeling like they never want to bring up beliefs again. haha.

We really have to trust God. If He provides an opportunity to talk about Him, He will also provide the words to say.
"I have put my words in your mouth and covered you with the shadow of my hand..." Isaiah 51:16a
I know the feeling of knowing what you want to say but it's like you can't get it out. Keep your trust in God and be sensitive to His Spirit and what He might be prompting you to say. He will help us!

Juan, you're definitely not alone. The four of us who have posted struggle with the same thing, and we are NOT the only five in the world! Everyone goes through that at some point in their life--even the most confident evangelists!
As Joy said, God can give us the words to say, and the strength to say them, if we put our trust in Him.

Another thing that Ive discovered is that you dont really need to be talking all the time just by the way you represent Christ in your life people will begin to want what you have. Thanx for all your input guys (:

What i have noticed as I go along this walk is that when you believe in TRUTH its not about convincing. Regardless what anyone approaches you with if your decisions are based on what God has revealed to you then saying it is just speaking the truth! The struggle is also familiar to me and I have to fight it constantly because I am a youth leader and the ministry that I attend! When you go the avenue of simply speaking truth it is not that you are being religious per se, but it is explaining the belief system that you live by. I could keep goin but yeah... lol! Be blessed bro!
