Hello there, My name is Jonathan, I was wondering if anyone can explain the story and meaning behind Not Of This World.

I do understand its a verse, but still cant seem to grasp its full meaning.

Hey Jonathan,
From my undersatnding, C28 is a reference to Colossians 2:8 which is:
( from the New Living Translation)
"Don't let anyone capture you with empty philosophies and high-sounding nonsense that come from human thinking and from the spiritual powers of this world, rather than from Christ."

So basically, dont be of this world, rather be in Christ'. Be Not of This World, but be of Christ's world; which is God's Kingdom.

Another verse to help grasp this is, 1 Peter 2:11
(also from the NLT)
"Dear friends, I warn you as "temporary residents and foreigners" to keep away from worldly desires that wage war against your very souls."

Again, speaking of being not of this world, as we are foreigners, aliens, ambassadors to this world. For those who are saved, we are not of this world, but of His Kingdom.
