This coming week I've got two songs to play in the local music festival. The first one is tonight and the other is on Thursday. I've done this for a few years now. You always get nervous, but it's still fun! Does anyone do this or have you ever done it?

If anybody's interested the songs I'm playing on the piano are "Variations in a minor" by Kabalevsky and "Etude in E major" by Chopin. That first one is soooo fun! :)

It's free admission at the festival!! ;) But the plane ride would be a little expensive. :(

@kingskid, i know but i'm not quite sure my wish will become truth;) yes i sing kinda much now. try to practice my voice to make the best of it:)

The main thing to remember when you are singing is to sing for the Lord. Sing with your voice the way God made it and don't try to be like anyone else. God even gave each person on this earth a unique voice. No one else has your special sound!!Go for it.

The whole thing went well actually. I got a mark of 90 onthe first song whichwas so surprising! :) That really excited me. I got 87 on the other piece. I have to say that both times before I played, I prayed that God would help me not to be nervous, but to play and enjoy it. He did help me. I'm so thankful for that.
