Hey guys! So my best friend is getting married this Summer and her sister is planning all of the girlie stuff for the wedding. Her fiance' came up to me and ask if I was going to have a problem with the girls drinking at the party. Keep in mind that my best friend is only going to be 20 at the time of her wedding. Now, I don't have a problem with a drink here and there. But getting drunk is a sin and I feel really uncomfortable promoting it. I love my best friend and want to be there for the big moments in her life but I'm not sure what to do about this situation.

Are you hosting the party? That has big implications on what you should do.

Nah, I'm not. If I was I would have this think set. I could totally host an awesome alcohol free b-party. But I know there's going to be a lot of drunk ladies there.

First, pray hard and heavy. Seek God and give final decision.
If you are not hosting you are only supporting if you actually do something that supports it, like go and be a light in a dark place but do not be a designated driver - that would be suppporting. And just be honest, give them the reason you are not drinking and won't do something that supports it.
