Watched the video a few minutes ago. It appears to be a worthwhile cause, but something about the style of the video/ the presentation made me feel uncomfortable. I think that it would be valuable to look into the organizations he mentioned over and over (namely 'tri') before donating any money. You never know what the organization really stands for and it could be detrimental to give money/time/effort to an organization if they support other causes not so noble....unless of course your were guaranteed that 100% of your donation went to its stipulated cause. :)

Great video but, What about all the human trafficking (for example) going on here in the United States? Doesn't that matter too? This video is blowing up all over the internet. It just doesn't do it for me. Sure, I care , but it seems like we as Americans are always trying to help other countries. When we have problems right in our own backyard we are struggling with. Its the elephant in our room.

It makes me think of this scripture in matthew 7:3-4 Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?

Whats going to happen? Social media will cause a raucous and Obama might open his big mouth? These people need Jesus!

@Codify He is the number one criminal on the list. the movement is in hope that the countries of the world will get together and arrest each criminal one by one. Sex trafficking is bad and it is all about personal conviction on which you decide is worse.

@Stephanie I did some research and their are MANY claims that say Invisible Children is not using all of the money on the actual campaign and that they are paying there people and paying for the footage of the film and things like that. i think we need to be careful where we put our money but that still doesn't change the importance of spreading the word of this. :)

overall message is great but the organization kinda isnt so great. It looks like they are only in it for the monetary gain :/. But i could be wrong.

If you go to about 2:17 in that video, I talk a bit about what is going on with the finances and things for the Invisible Children so people have a bit clearer image of whats going on with all of that.

i support this a lot, but i did hear recently that Kony died about 5ish years ago and the man speaking in the video, Gavin's dad, was arrested for being under the influence of something, vandalizing cars, and doing inappropriate things in public.
