I didn't realize how good the book of Romans is and how very complicated it is as well. REading the King Jsmes version is hard, but if you reread the verses, you get a better understanding of what he is saying. That, and asking the Holy Spirit to guide you. :) I would love to talk about the whole book with all of you, but there is sooo much to saw about it so I will share one of my favourite parts. Romans 3: 28 "Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law."
Romans 3:31 "Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law."
:) I encourage you to read the whole book of Romans. Just, if you are curious. :) God bless and Jesus be with you always.

We're going through Romans in my young adults bible study. Unfortunately, I've missed a lot, but I really do want to study it on my own. I just struggle with reading and being able to concentrate. :( Something I'm praying the Lord will help me get better at. But I have a really great commentary called Jon Courson's Application Commentary on the New Testament. He has one on the Old Testament as well. Having a good commentary helps tremendously!
Do you have the old King James version or the new? Both can be pretty hard to understand. I have the New King James, but I also have the New Living Translation, which is easier for me to understand. For Christmas, my sister got me a NLT Life Application Study Bible, which helps a lot. I use both the NKJV and NLT, the different wording helps you gain deeper understanding and insight. :) And like you said, also asking the Holy Spirit to guide you! :D I think one of my favorite parts in Romans is Rom. 7:13-25

I have the Old King James Version. YES!! I absolutely love that Scripture! I'm glad that you like Romans too, Elena. It can be so mysterious and so eye-opening too. :) God bless you in your reading of the Bible! :) <3

Romans is one of our Subject books in our monthly Bible Study, one of the verses that always seems to stick out and has really ministered to those going through various struggles is this:
"There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit." (Romans 8:1 KJV)
Don't let anyone place you under a yoke of condemnation, you are victorious in Jesus Christ!

There is actually a method of sharing the faith called the Roman Road which is a series of verses from Romans one is supposed to go over with a potential convert.
