Music posted in General on 11/23/11 @ 9:45 PM by Thirst

I know this topic has been done a thousand times, but new songs are released, and new interests come.

In this case, my phone can download music for free, thank the Maker. I want to hear what your top ten favorite songs are, because I want to listen to some good music.

And as a side-note, What I've Done by Linkin Park is eerily Christian, especially since it was played as the theme song to Transformers. The lyrics are awesome though, and I especially like the bridge.

Thanks, all, and have a good thanksgiving!

I dont know if your just lookin for christian stuff so ill just stick with that. You also didnt specify a genre...

All of timothy brindle

All Stephen the Levite

Ive only heard like 12 songs by Shawn McDonald but they were all wonderful

Ive only heard like 5 songs by Rush of Fools but they were really good

Lecrae's entire album rebel was awesome

Shai Linne is a calvanist but aside from that his doctrine is spot on and his music us fresh, ima big fan

Shane and Shane - "burn us up" and "yearn" and probably more by them but I only know those two songs

Mostly hiphop listed but I tried to mix it up, and even if you arent that into hiphop the lyrics are all Holy Spirit written so check them out anyway

Enjoy

Course I didn't. Good music should be a genre of itself, not split up into all these different nonsense types. I don't care if it's rock, country, dubstep, rap, hip-hop or whatever, if it's worth listening to then it's worth listening to.

Thanks all for the contributions, as it is Black Friday I've got all day to waste, so I'll be looking up these

Humanity and Analyze by Tim Be Told

One More Try by Wavorly

i think this is my favorite topic and i might not be able to keep it under ten songs lol :P

Right now I'm listening to Thrice's song "Words on the Water" which is fantastic, just like every other Thrice song :P

Another favorite is Switchfoot's "Thrive" ....along with all of their songs lol everyone should listen to all of their Hello Hurricane cd :) And the new one Vice Verses is phenomenal as well!

I have to mention mewithoutYou, but i cant be resigned to pick just one song based on preference :P So ill just say listen to "The Fox The Crow And The Cookie" because it has an awesome name :P

Oh and back to Switchfoot, their singer Jon Foreman has some solo stuff out and it is the best music you'll ever hear. For example "Your Love Is Strong"

Falling Up just put out a new cd, and it plays like a theatre score, it just flows perfectly. One of the most touching songs is "Oceans"

And back to Thrice, their lead singer also has made a solo album that is monumental. Listen to "Please Come Home" a song with the theme of the prodigal son

Bright Eyes has some surprising talent for turning out a good song, listen to "If The Brakeman Turns My Way" or "Old Soul Song(For The New World Order)

Another Jon Foreman of Switchfoot project called "Fiction Family" released a cd, and it is great as expected :P Listen to "We Ride"

Brand New is another very talented group of musicians, listen to their song "Jesus"

And for last i say As Cities Burn, who is one of my all time favorites and has wayyyyyy too many songs to pick just one :P So I'll pick three! "Into The Sea" "Clouds" and "Thus from My Lips, by Yours, My Sin Is Purged"

You asked for it :P
