I was healed this weekend at a youth retreat! It was absolutely amazing. I went up for prayer for back pain because when I stand in one place for too long I have crazy back pain. And so the speaker, Keith Miners, told 2 of the girls to each hold one of my legs in their hands by my feet. We noticed by my ankle bone that my left leg was about half an inch shorter than the right. They prayed for my leg to grow, I didn't feel anything, I didn't even realize what was happening! The girl holding my left leg told me that she felt my leg grow in her hands, that she saw and felt the bone move! WOW!!!!! And then he told me to stretch out my arms and bring my hands together, and my right armwas noticeably shorter than the left. They prayed for it, I saw with my own eyes my arm grow and my hands become even. It was incredible. Praise God!!! I just wanted to share this for encouragement, really. Our God is alive! Jesus STILL heals! He wants to heal us and he wants to use us to heal others. Keep on pushing, brothers and sisters :)

My mind is trying to make it logical now lol because LOGICALLY that would have been impossible...I keep having thoughts "oh you just moved your own hand/arm, that's what happened" but that's NOT what happened!!! It was all Jesus!

@PHBOI, oh I know, it's actually really annoying. I'm learning that my thoughts usually aren't my own, they're either Satan putting thoughts into my head, which I need to rebuke, or it's God speaking to me. I think it's kinda cool actually :P

I think we often forget that WE, yes, you and me have the power to do miracles!!! God does want to use US to do incredible things. We just need to surrender to him. Shouldn't it be normal to us to see and perform miracles??

Can you be saved? Absolutely! Can you be healed? Absolutely!
These two go hand in hand. You accept one, you accept the other! God asked us to believe it, and it will be done.

Wow. Wow! Heavy verse, Josh! (I remembered to use your real name this time :) ) Thanks for the encouragement!
God told me last weekend, again, that I was meant to do miracles. Everytime he tells me that I'm like, who? Me?! Are you kidding?? and so I asked him last weekend if I really was able to do miracles and if that was what he had for me, and immediately this popped into my head: during summer camp I had someone randomly prophesy over me, he said to me "Which spirit was in Jesus?" "The Holy Spirit..." "Who did Jesus pray to?" "God..." "Which spirit is in YOU, Ariel?" "The Holy Spirit..." "Who do YOU pray to?" "God..." "Ariel, do you know how many miracles Jesus performed? At the end of John it says that there would not be enough room in all the world for all the books that these miracles could be written in. And Jesus says that you will do even more and even greater things than he! Ariel, you're a miracle worker."
I was like, woah! I'm still blown away...I really want to believe that I can perform miracles through Jesus and only through him, but it's nerve wracking to try and do it

Yes, it is kinda scary. But We are all called to go preach, DISCIPLE, annnnd heal in the name of Jesus.

I think my biggest thing isn't "will God come through and do what I'm requesting?", it's "What do I say??" I don't know what to say when I pray for healing for people, I don't know whether to command the sickness to leave or ask Jesus to heal them or talk to the hurting part of their body or what.
