I'm reading Mike Guzzardo's book All In right now and something struck a never. He said that God shouldn't be A priority, he should be THE priority. I thought that this perspective was bang on and a very cool way to think about it. What does this mean/how does it look for you?

But isn't that just like making him the *number one* priority? Is it different than making him *the* priority?

I may have worded that wrong. I think it means focus on God. Make his will the most important thing in your life.

To me it means, forsaking all else to follow after Jesus. To let go of our comfort and status and seek HIM above all else. To take the Bible and live out our lives accordingly. Be imitators of Christ.

when i think of prioritizing God and things, i think of family, friends, and the things I like to do.
To me, making God THE priority, isn't getting rid of the other things in your life, He placed them in your life for a reason. But, making Him THE priority means that He is prevalent in ALL aspects of your life.
