When we are placed before the Throne in Heaven, we will be asked by Christ to give an account of our lives, and what we did for HIM.
Our testimony can encourage someone else who may be struggling with something struggled with and now have conquered.
Sooo what has GOD done in YOUR life, what have YOU done for GOD, whats your testimony?

Well I grew up with very little Christian influence. I never went to church, although I watched some Veggie Tales stuff as a kid and we read the Bible from time to time. I was also homeschooled so I didnt have much of an outside influence. But I went to a public middle school, and thats where my already paper-thin faith got cut up in pieces. There were many atheists and I began to question God a lot. I considered myself agnostic and got close to atheism.
But then I started talking to this girl, who is now my girlfriend, and she was Christian. I asked her why she was Christian, what she believed in, etc. And over time she helped renew my faith, and I formally asked Jesus into my life when I was going through a time of trouble.
Ive struggled with temptation a lot, mostly in the area of pornography. It got pretty bad, but Ive finally overcome temptation so much more than I ever imagined I could, and I no longer look at pornography. The only reason for that is God. Remember, Jesus struggled with temptation too, so He can help those who deal struggle now.
Ive only been a follower of Christ for a little over a year, but I feel so strong in my faith and I love God so much and I proclaim that every day, whether its posting a Bible verse on Facebook, wearing C28 clothes, or outright talking to people about Jesus.
I pray that my testimony have a positive affect on those in need. Amen. :)

I am a pastors kid and I have been raised in the church my entire life, but what I love to rejoice in is the fact that God has always kept me close to His heart. I have gone through strife in my own life, things that would often make you rail against God but instead I drew even closer to Him. In my early teenage years I had gone through depression and seclusion, almost committed suicide, and a deacon in our church spread a rumor, when I was 15, that I was promiscuous and demon possed, but, in every case God has shown Himself and His love, power, and glory and I have been able to do nothing but cry out to Him and run into His arms each and every time. I have even been in 4 car accidents since I was 17 years old, and each one should have killed me, but instead I came out of them with little more than bruises and scratches! Isnt Gods provision amazing! I know that a lot of people consider me Little Miss Goody-two-shoes, but what they dont see is what God has done for me over the years. I know that if it wasnt for His grace and mercy that I would be living in the world and not for Him. I choose to spend the rest of my life serving a God who has seen me through everything rather than rely on anyone of this world. I continued to serve God with the prayer that He would bring things right even when I was in the depths of despair. My encouragement is for others who feel like God isnt there, I can fully attest that if you follow Him all the days of your life, even when its hard, and even when you feel like you have nothing, know that God is the one who will provide comfort when the darkness seems to surround you. ~Psalm 23~

AMEN sisterrrr! that is amazing! i tooo still have ppl talkin&spreading rumors, even by ppl in the Body which is ridiculous, but GOD keeps revealing HIMSELF &HE loves unconditionally. & HEs alwaystheree!
It was HIS grace HIS mercy, eveything HE does that i am thankful. & im sooooooo thankful that HE pulled me out when HE did. because i realize HE coulda let me go further &further down the path of destruction but HE didnt. &that amazes me!!!

well, i was raised in a Christian home...and i was saved in the 4th grade at a "strength team" program. everything was going swimmingly until about the 6th grade. i began to notice girls a lot more. soon i started looking at swimsuit/underwear models on the comp. of course that turned into porn. so i went through middle school hiding this porn addiction. every time i lusted i hated myself. i became very depressed and felt hopeless. i knew God was there but i couldnt get close. i prayed for help but none seemed to come. in 8th grade i began to cut. i cut on my leg so no one would see. this continued through my freshmen year. then the summer before sophomore year i went on a mission trip. they reenacted the crucifixion one night and i lost it. i cried and prayed for three hours. i got up off of that hill and i felt relieved. a physical weight was lifted off of me. i am still not perfect, but SOOOOO much better. I would have killed myself if nothing changed on that mission trip. God is amazing.

The beginning of your testimony is sadly that of most young men these days.
I pray that all the men who struggled with what u have will come to the knowledge of Gods grace as your testimony finished.
We all fall, But its how we pick ourselves back up that defines us.
John - 3/22/10 @ 4:12 PM
yeah...well i got over it with a ton of prayer, xxxchurch.com, safe eyes filtering, and accountability partners at my youth group. it is totally defeatable.
Japlace - 3/22/10 @ 5:15 PM
soo u still have to be constantly on your guard huh? like constantly being carful of what ur eyes see? on a further level then some?
