So this week I've been engulfed in homework and work and school and have had literally no down time. Tonight will make my third night in a row without any sleep (not including an hour nap on day one). So how long can a person go without sleep? I already feel my brain shutting down lol.

Hey Jordan,
I know it can be tough sometimes; but try to find a way to space things out in your schedule. I can't guarantee it'll be easy, but do take some breaks here and there, that way you can feel a little more refreshed.
I'll give you a tip buddy. A friend told me this. When it comes to finals (I know you didn't mention anything about finals)say for ex: a math final. Study throughout the week but on the night before the exam, REST! This worked out for me really well.
hope you have a blessed week

Pray that God will take out the things in your life that are not His will, that doesnt mean it has to be "bad" things. Maybe you are going to one too many bible studies. God definitely wants you to rest brother, he told everyone who was weary and heavy laden to come to Him, because He wants to give us rest instead. Going without sleep for too long can actually be dangerous, major body functions and organs can shut down, causing massive damage. Sometimes in just a few days, depends on the person. I woyld say 3_4 days is fine, but you will experience hallucinations and slower brain functions.
Seek God bro, He will let you know whats up

Omg!!! Go to sleep. Its not healthy to miss sleep. Just saw a video about it in a psychology class last week (oddly enough). This guy did an experiment and stayed awake for 8 days and nights. He fell asleep and slept for 24 hours after that. HIS PERSONALITY NEVER RETURNED - HIS PERSONALITY LITERALLY CHANGED -he ended up losing his job and getting divorced.
God designed our sleep schedule the way it is for a reason. Don't mess with it. Seriously, you need to focus on your school and health. Can you cut back on your work hours? Either way, go to sleep. lol

Hey, agree with Cross carrier, John, and Stephanie. You really need to get some shut-eye.
