ive noticed that a lot of your postings are very "radical". Being radical is great, as Jesus was radical. However, I get the feeling that you are trying to get everyone to be perfect, and that you are focusing more on morals than faith. Correct me if Im wrong because I hate falsely accusing people. I just believe that faith in God is much more important than morals.

sorry to butt in... but thee bible says "a faith wihout deeds is dead" so when you focus on your Faith you should be living it ou. Ephesians and Galatians talks about the fruit of the Spirit &Soul Armor & such. &in Matthew it says "judge them by teir fruit &you shall know their spirit". so if your not "morally correct"--or worried about what your doing, what does that say abut your faith?
i cant be out in the world acting like a heathen &preachin the Gospel & such &sharing my testimony, no one will believe that GOD changed me.
JESUS was and is Perfect. we arent. we were born into sin. sin lives in us. but we can strive to be perfect with each dy gven to us..

and, adding to what Michelleeee said, part of living with faith in God is trying to live up to the standards he sets for us, he are called to "Be holy, because I am holy." 1 Peter 1:16
K3T knows were not perfect, but that doesnt mean we shouldnt try to be perfect in the Lord. Matthew 5:48 says to "Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect." 2 Corinthians 7:1 says "Since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God." 2 Corinthians 13:11 says "Aim for perfection, listen to my appeal, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you."
Colossians 1:28 says "We proclaim him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ."
Hebrews 11:40 says "God had planned something better for us so that only together with us would they be made perfect."
So we are called to be perfect and holy, K3T is holding us accountable to that, and i appreciate it very much, it is definitely needed.

cant really say it clearer than that. :) we are to be Christ-like and thats a huge challenge. i think a lot of people are taken off guard by how strictly K3T follows the Bible but the truth is hes right. ya he is "radical". haha but werent we called to be that way? to be "peculiar" and "NOTW" (not of this world)?

"I just believe that faith in God is much more important than morals."
Your faith in God should be moving you to live up to His moral standards.
Jesus said in John 14:15 "If you love Me, you will keep My commandments."
Are you spending time each day reading Gods word, and in prayer to Him?
That will truly help you! =)

1 John 2:6 - "Those who say they live in God should live their lives as Jesus did."
honestly, "christians" without morals harm my faith - my faith in them, and in their salvation.
1 John 3:7 "Dear children, don’t let anyone deceive you about this: When people do what is right, it shows that they are righteous, even as Christ is righteous."
i pressure people into being true - if they have faith, it ought to show through righteousness. if they do not show righteousness, they ought to stop claiming faith. the Bible calls most "christians" (the ones who dont walk in His ways) liars, and lukewarm.
1 John 3:8-10 "But when people keep on sinning, it shows that they belong to the devil, who has been sinning since the beginning. But the Son of God came to destroy the works of the devil. Those who have been born into God’s family do not make a practice of sinning, because God’s life is in them. So they can’t keep on sinning, because they are children of God. So now we can tell who are children of God and who are children of the devil. Anyone who does not live righteously and does not love other believers does not belong to God."
also, morals, which you say are less important than faith, are Gods laws - written on our hearts.
if you understand now - everythings alright. if you dont, please explain what i should explain.

I believe sometimes we get so caught up in a persons morality that we forget about their HUMANITY. Before we decided to be Baptist, Methodist, Catholic, Atheist, etc we were ALL HUMAN. Its funny when I see groups protesting because Ellen wants to get married on t.v. but let a gay hate crime happen in our own backyard/city and those same groups are silent. I truly believe to be effective in this day and age we have to put humanity on the same platform (if not above) morality.
Daniel L. - 3/4/10 @ 4:17 PM
of course gay hate crimes are wrong, but thats merely because hate crimes are wrong. yeah there are lots of careless groups who just want to have their way & dont care about others, but humanity in this sense doesnt leave excuse for sin.
im not really sure if thats what youre talking about.
Bryan Omega - 3/4/10 @ 5:01 PM
People dont need an excuse to sin; they do it anyway. I am just pointing out that instead of being "moral police" we should be implementing His Kingdom, but a lot of us are too busy debating. We as Christians call ourselves serving the Prince of Peace, but we are at war with everyone.
3 in every 4 Americans claim to be Christians opposed to 1 in 10 that claim to homosexual. So why is it that the gay voice is louder than the christian voice? I believe its because they arent trying to build grand buildings, but are trying to change a society. Just look at network tv how many christians characters vs gay do you see. Again thats 1 groups impact on society when its about getting their spear penetration into the world.

I actually thought the same thing about K3T when I first got on here (sorry man). But after having a few discussions with him, I learned a lot. We didnt always agree but he definately made me think and change a few things around in my life. I still stand by some of the movies I watch but now I read reviews on pluggedin.com. It makes a HUGE difference on how I look at movies. I also think about how I dress more for others than just me. I know that sounds backwords but in reality, I dont have to look at my body but all of the guys I walk by do. I dont want to cause impure thoughts in them, even if just for a second. No way would I want to cause sin. Thanks K3T :)

Hahahaha! John you just painted an awesome picture of Alpha in my head.
