ok to my understanding many think that nephilim were some kind of giants or some super breed from fallen angels mating with women on earth which I beleieve to be false, nephilim was a word to describe the acts and power that these certain people held not a physical feature of being a giant human of some sort. So basically they were called nephilims because they were powerful and controlling and pretty crude people. I could be wrong but this is what I discovered in my research, maybe you can ask a pastor and see what they say and tell me. Here are some verses to read about angels I found job38:4-7, hebrews2:7, matthew24:36, luke2:13, colossians6:3 &13:1.

That is actually what they are. They were the creating from angels raping humans. Then, when they were killed by the humans the spirits went into the earth. They tried to inherit heaven, but because they weren't holy, they stayed here on earth.
Its all in the book of Enoch.

I don't believe the nephilim were angels.
1.A major theme of the Old Testament is the negative outcome of believers intermarrying with unbelievers.
2.Angels are spiritual beings, and therefore not reproductively compatible with human women.
Matthew 22: 23-29
23That same day the Sadducees, who say there is no resurrection, came to him with a question. 24“Teacher,” they said, “Moses told us that if a man dies without having children, his brother must marry the widow and have children for him. 25Now there were seven brothers among us.
