Richard is a very open-minded, highly communicative and sociable person. He is easy-going and has a good sense of humor, which
makes it very easy for him to make friends at school and his host family. Richard has a considerate nature and mature attitude using
common sense. Adapting to his host family's habits should not be difficult for him. Although his English skills are not perfect, he does
not hesitate to use it in a conversation and is well able to communicate.
He is an active person with many interests. He especially enjoys doing sports, such as riding the bicycle, swimming and hiking. He
practises handball and martial arts several times a week.
Richard is highly motivated to attend a high school and experience the American way of life by living with a host family. He is also
eager to share his culture. I am sure that his participation in the exchange program will be a beneficial experience for him and his host
family as well. I consider him as a very good applicant.
