IM AM JUST ABOUT TERRIFIED OF SIN AND THE TEMPTAIONS OF THE DEVIL. EVERYDAY I WANT TO CRY AND SCREAM CAUSE I FEEL THAT I CAN NOT STOP SINNING. I HAVE TALKED TO GOD AND PRAYED AND READ THE BIBLE FOR ALL AND EVERY ADVICE THERE IS. I STRONGLY BELEIVE THAT THE LORD IS THE SAVIOR AND DIED FOR MY SINS AND EVERYTHING HE SAYS, TAUGHT AND TELLS US IS REAL AND THE ONLY WAY TO LIVE BY. THEN WHY DO I SIN. I GET TO THE POINT OF HATING MYSELF AND WANT TO GIVE UP AND JUST LET ALL THE WORSE THINGS IN THE WORLD HAPPEN TO ME, BUT THEN I GET UP AND WALK STRONG SAYING THE LORD WILL KEEP ME STRONG AND CAN GO ON OVER POWER THINGS (FOR A TIME). THEN I FALL HARD AND SIN. WHY IS THIS HAPPENING TO ME SO MUCH? DID I DO SOMETHING SO HORRIBLE IN ALL MY LIFE THAT I AM BEING PUNISHED EVERY DAY? IDK WHAT TO DO ANYMORE. I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING AND KEEP STAYING STRONG WITH PRAYER AND CHURCH BUT FAIL ALMOST DAILY AGAIN AND WHEN IM ALONE AND I GUESS VUNERABLE, IS THERE A REASON IM A SCREW UP OR MAYBE I AM BEING REJECTED OR MAYBE A TOY TO THE LORD? IM SCARED, SO SCARED OF THE RESULTS OF MY FAILURE. I WANT TO BE WITH THE LORD IN THE END NOT IN ABSENSE OF THE LORD.

First off, if Jesus is your Savior then there is absolutely no reason to be afraid. He has yet to break any of His promises and He has promised to NEVER leave you. And you didn't do anything that made you have these challenges, they are simply stepping stones to a stronger relationship with God. He gives you challenges that He knows you can handle and you'll be stronger in the end. I know you'll make it through, and I'll be praying for your journey. :)

God will never reject you. And he wouldn't cause you to go through all this just for His amusment.
Remember that when Jesus died for your sins, he took them all away. 1 John 1:9 says, "If you confess your sins he is faithful and just and will forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
YOU ARE FORGIVEN! You just have to forgive yourself for messing up. Because we all do. And I can say myself that there have been night were I beat myself up about how stupid I ws that I did this or that I didn't think it through when I said that.
Pslam 130:3-4 says, "If you, O Lord kept a record of sins, who could stand? 4But with you there is forgivness therefore you are feared."
Think of every day as a new beginning with God and remember that you are not alone.
I hope this helps. I agree with everything madetoburn said. Do not be afraid of the devil!

You do not need to feel condemnation over sinning. Romans 8:1 Christ died for your sins and you have accepted that. You still will make mistakes; it is our human nature. But with Jesus you can overcome! When you mess up, remember 1 John 1:9. Jesus understands your weaknesses and He will help you to overcome.

Remember that Satan is a small fish in a big pond. He doesn't even have DNA! He will never inherit the Kingdom of Heaven, will never be called a brother of Jesus, or a Son of God our Father. He has no authority or power over you unless yougive it to Him. He is only allowed to operate in the principality (arena) of the world/earth. The only part of you that operates in the earth is your flesh. So, hang tight... Christ commands us to pick up our cross daily. Die to your flesh and die to your human nature, and restore your spirit! He can't operate in the glory like you can!
If you sin, just remember what the word says. Confess your sins and He is faithful to forgive you. Paul wrote the word confess in Greek. That word is homologio, or "Same speak." If you speak the same as Christ does about your sin like "You have the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus" then you can overcome.
Die to your flesh and live in the Romans 8 Spirit of God.

Romans 7:14-25 "For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am carnal, sold under sin.For what I am doing, I do not understand. For what I will to do, that I do not practice; but what I hate, that I do.If, then, I do what I will not to do, I agree with the law that [it is] good. But now, [it is] no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me.For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells; for to will is present with me, but [how] to perform what is good I do not find. For the good that I will [to do], I do not do; but the evil I will not [to do], that I practice. Now if I do what I will not [to do], it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me.I find then a law, that evil is present with me, the one who wills to do good.or I delight in the law of God according to the inward man.But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death?I thank God--through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, with the mind I myself serve the law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin."
If paul went through it, we can't say we are being punished or that we are some kind of horrible christian, it is a GOOD thing that we feel CONVICTION over our sin, but we just need to repent and press on. Run the race with endurance, stay in the word, read the books of Peter. Remember God's love always beats our sin, Jesus' blood has cleansed us totally. Just make sure you stay close to him, and not wander away in shame, but put in the robe of righteousness supplied by Jesus Himself.
EVERYONE - Check out Timothy Brindle's album "Killing Sin" at least listen to a couple songs and then also look up the lyrics. You may not be into hiphop but Timothy Brindle is amazing, only because he is surrendered to the Holy Spirit. His lyrics are bible based and he is filled with the Spirit.
Grace and peace from our Lord Jesus Christ

I struggle with the same things. Wanting to be with the Lord and the then falling to sin. But I'm starting to learn that God's forgiveness is unlimited. No matter what a screw up I am or a hypocrit or a liar or a sinner, all I have to do is ask for forgiveness and He sees me as perfect. It's taken me a long time to realize this, but you are loved and if God be for you, then noone can be against you. I'll send a prayer up for you (:

I know how you feel Satan can come at us with attacks that make us feel like we aren't saved, like we may not know the 'real Christ' at all. BUT at all circumstance and in ALL situations please sit down and read what the Scripture says about you. You whom Christ died for...pardon me; gave his life for. Realized the majesty that you move in and acknowledge what Christ says about you. John 1:4 for those who believed him, he gave them the right to be called children of God, not born of a mans will nor decision but born of God. Lemme say that again BORN OOF GOD. Realize your authority Satan has tricked me with this for way too long. Acknowledge the Christ whom you stand for and now makes his home in your hearts, and know his life is made announced through you. I prophesy you as a modern-day Paul out of all of this.
