DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY GOOD IDEAS ON HOW KEEP YOUR HOME FREE OF EVIL SPIRITS? LOOKING FOR CANDLES OR INSCENSE, OR EVEN RITUALS TO CLEAN THE HOUSE. I HAVE HEARD SOMETHINGS BUT JUST THINK THEY ARE HOAX'S AND NOT SURE. I JUST WANT TO KEEP MY HOUSE POSITIVE AND RID ANYTHING THAT IS LINGERING OR EVIL OUT.

If the two above tips don't work, try being optimistic and taking responsibility for the negative aspects of your household rather than putting the blame on imaginary spirits.

Evil Spirits are real. The Bible makes that very clean. However the Bible (the only real truth on this planet earth) does not have any earthly ritual to "ward" them off. On the contrary we are commanded to use our voice, and speak with authority, and command these evil influences to leave in the name of Jesus Christ.
The disciples of Jesus did this, and before Jesus ascended into heaven He gave us (each and everyone one of us) the authority over, completely over and in domination of these spirits. If we call upon the name of the Lord, and speak directly to the evil influence or demonic presence they HAVE TO leave in the name of Jesus. They have NO choice.
Father I pray on behalf of my brother Jimmy. Lord I ask you to give him the words to speak in your authority and power, and to take up your promise of this authoritative speech. That he would have the boldness to stand in the face of the evil one and rebuke him in the name that is over every other name; Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Who was and is and is to come. The I am. Lord we do not need exclamation points to exclaim the power of your promise and spoken word. In your name, Amen.

Like Japlace said they are very real! A friend of mine had an experience not too long ago! Her daughter asked her if she had seen the new Lady Gaga music video "Judas" and she watched it and had an experience and she had to pray over her house and do communion. They are very real, the Bible says so!

Anoint it with oil, windows doors etc.The oil represents the Holy Spirit, remember it isn't the oil or the anointing it is you surrendering to God and trusting Him, giving your home to God. But also you need to remember not to invite the demons into your house by taking in evil media ie: movies, music, maybe friends or others who come in who love evil, even family members living in the household may be doing wrong which leads to demonic attacks. It is all in the act of obedience, not because you must obey, but because obeying is good, it shows real love and devotion. Pray psalm 91

In my Bible study, we were taught about Spiritual warfare. We believers have many weapons to battle these evil spirits. I just don`t know where to find them on the Bible, these weapons include the Name of Jesus( for every knee shall bow to His Name), praise and worship, prayer, the Blood of Jesus. Jesus gave us the authority on Luke 10:19- I have given you the authority to trample down snakes and scorpions and to overcome the power of the enemy, nothing will harm you. This verse gave me peace every time I feel something was lingering or standing beside me when I`m alone or in dark places. I would pray aloud and rebuke the evil spirits and negative images that the enemy injects in my mind, after that prayer I feel safe and God always reminds me that He will never leave us nor forsake us.
