Alright, I'm working on a new website for our church here in Fort Worth, TX, USA. I'm not sure if the prototype I have up now is "too dark." Just gimme some opinions.. Haha.

The prototype looks great! The name "Solid Rock" goes great with the overall look of the site. I think looks a lot like a blog, whether or not that's what you're going for. I really like it though, much better than the current.
The youth ministry site also looks like a blog (again, not sure if you're going for that or not, I don't know!) but it looks great. I absolutely love the green background. Very... Alive. :)

Well, the software we're using for this is called WordPress, which is really made for blogging. But, it makes it REALLY EASY to administrate the site. (So I won't be the only one capable of keeping it running. All the older guys and women can add what they want.)
Once the site actually gets running, it won't be those "inspirational stories." I actually copied those from e-mails just so something would be there temporarily.
Well, we're also thinking of using this theme, called "Outreach."

And to be honest, I don't really like the current youth site. I'll change that once I find a new theme. Lol.

i think that outreach theme costs $80... honestly, if you're using wordpress, which has so many free themes, you'd be kind of losing to buy an $80 theme. i myself use 2 free ones, which look great.

Yea, we found that out. So, I'm not sure what we'll do.
I think we'll go ahead and buy it.
Now, there are some quality templates that are free, but not many..
