Just curious. what songs get you "pumped up" spiritually? When I preach I tend to listen to any of these
make war-tedashii
shut me out- kutless
die religion die- brian welch
shut us down- sho baraka
and
breathe for you-decyfer down.
Am I the only one who does this or are their others?

Put On Christ by Laura Hackett. I love to listen to it when I need to be reminded that we're at war.

I don't know about anyone else, but worship gets me "pumped up".. Like, I don't need distortion guitar with a double bass pedal to get pumped up for God.
This is what gets me pumped up:

King of Wonders by Bethel (Chris Quilala)
(Put on Christ is an awesome song, btw)

Spiritually? I'm with Japlace, worship music is good for that.
Now if we are talking "pumped" as in like I'm about to work out, well more like Lecrae or Trip Lee and stuff like that :P

When working out I used to listen to garbage music to get pumped up in the gym. But now honestly I get more focus on listening to Gods word when working out. I know some cant relate but concentration and the right state of mind when powerlifting is very important and I listen to sermons from pastors and it pumps me up and puts me in the perfect state of mind.

Worship, definitely. I always like a Saints in Praise cd that we have. They are singing very common choruses that are so easy to join in with and very uplifting!

Almost the entire Passion: Awakening CD. Probably because we used most of the songs for worship at the Big Break conference and when you hear a thousand college students crying out in unison to our God, it's just powerful!!!
I also like a lot of IHOP songs!!
madetoburn - 3/18/11 @ 8:44 PM
The band For Today is a little more hardcore than I usually listen to, but most of their songs have really great lyrics.

Okay, you probably never ever heard of Evie. Like we have the old records by her, so they are a little old. But I like lots of songs by her: Don't run from reality, Shine, and Broken up People. I think you can find some on youtube.
