The past few months I have been looking for a new path in life. Something happened last year that really started a downward spiral and seems to be up and down and when its down its hardcore. I started going to church, praying more that I used to. My life right now is without any hope and happiness. I have been searching for something to fill the void. I went into the C28 store and the worker there really got to me and something went off even more. That is what I need, that’s what im looking for. The happiness, the energy just everything about this person got me excited. I live in Anaheim and looking for a good church to go to. I’m almost 36 and looking for something up beat, full of energy, and just something that could finally put a smile on my face and give me a meaning in this world. I need help and a path to follow that is not so destructive. Can anyone help me out? I feel baby steps is what I want but not sure. I need to find a church first I feel.

Get in touch (either via internet or person) with a pastor or someone like that to see if there are any specific churches you want to go to. Thats if you want, but in my unprofessional opinion, I would look for a Assembly of God or a Pentecostal church. Again, thats my own opinion :)
God is just starting to reveal Himself to you, bro! Read the Bible. ANY part of it. His word says it will NEVER return void, so even reading a verse per day is huge.
Baby steps are fine, but I feel like God wants us to trust Him, and dive all the way into faith in Him, and believe in Him, and give our attention solely to Him.

Hey just this morning when i woke up I was grumpy, tired, feel like just going through the motions then a thought entered my head that every single day God has a mission for us or something to learn. So every night be excited for what is to come the next day. All we can do is give you advice and encouraging words but it comes all down to how bad you want it inside? How bad do you want to know Jesus in the full glory? How bad do you want to wake up each day and just kick satan in the butt and say no more will you steal my glory! No more will you steal my joy for your hope and trust is in Jesus in which no one can take that away from you. Seek and you shall find!
