Hi, Im Chris and Im fairly new here. I was wondering if there were any prayer warriors out there that would mind praying for me. Ive got severe existential anxiety and I struggle with doubt on a constant basis. I doubt my salvation and even the existence of God at times. Ive just been given a huge ministry opportunity, but Im not sure if Ill be able to handle the responsibility if I dont get myself under control. I pray everyday about my problem, but it feels like God isnt hearing me and I get frustrated. Im sorry to set such a gloomy atmosphere with this request, but I dont exactly know any people my age that take their faith seriously enough to pray about this.

Christopher, Ill definately be praying for you. We all get doubt about things. It is human nature. Just remember, Gods Word is True.

praying for you man! (dont listen to alpha)
Alpha - 1/16/10 @ 9:39 PM
Lol. Yeah, ignore everything you dont want to hear. I bet hell listen to that idea!

Faith is good, but blind faith is not good. Nothing is wrong with doubt, everyone doubts--it is natural. Listen to Alpha here, but NOWHERE ELSE! haha :P

Yeah I know everyone goes through it. I just really hate how it pretty much consumes all of my thoughts. I appreciate the prayers guys, really. Thank you.

Christophar,
Im just gonna say this very clearly haha.
As it is written: "Dont make light of Gods discipline"
And I sincerely mean it, as Paul was once struck by a demon THREE TIMES, Im sure it was physically painful, but also it was the root for his agony.
So move on through the hardships, and keeping waiting DAILY infront of Gods doors..
Hes knocking bro, hes knocking.
And this "Distress" is just something God brings upon man. By in accordance, controlling the Devil.
Yeah, that sounds radical but..
These are trials, these are trials.
And in Psalm 120, or 121. [I forget]
It plainly says out that the distress is from the evil one. [Not word for word, but its there]
Make it through the hardships dude,
And to sum all things up for you to soak up what Im saying is literally legit.
Here are the bible verses just for you:
Psalm 120 [And as you may know, the lying lips and the deceitful tongue are from "Man" who are also in accordance, the children of the Devil.]
John 8:42 [Proof there are children of the Devil]
Matthew 11:25-30 [Proof of Gods covenant for you]
Hebrews:12-12 [Proof of your hardships]
God will never forsake you,
and he even promised.
Dont worry dude, youll get through it.
Just remember,
"Love the lord with all your heart, mind, and soul. And Love your neighbors as yourself"
Youre a child of God,
Why else would the Devil buffet you from within and from within out?
We are soldiers.
So put on your armor of God, and continue to FIGHT.
Oh, and always turn to the Lord. Haha
Thats the top priority and root of all his servants.

Chris, God loves you so much like you cant even imagine. You cant doubt what God has done and will do with you because He is going to use you as an instrument in that particular ministry. Continue to persevere and conquer in your prayer and you will see great and mighty things happen that you have never dreamed of before. Just remember that with God, it is a relationship not a religion, you have to expect the impossible and see the invisible and stand firm in what God has promised.

I will pray for you. But just remember that God would rather you hear from him through His Word than him hear from you in prayer. I dont know if you already are, but get into Gods Word daily.Being in the Word will strengthen your faith.

Youll be in my prayers. it says Job felt that God was away from him. Just as God might not feel real to you, but he is there I can promise you that. Ive doubted myself, a lot, but once I gave up my worries to God he became known to me. "the pure at heart will see God." not sure exactly where in scripture that is but I know its true. Ill be praying for u brother.

God, Right now I pray for Chris. I pray that you would open his eyes to you. That he would no longer doubt you or your existance. I say that doubt has to leace his mind in Jesus name. I pray that he feels you tangible preasence all around him. Let him know, God, that you do hear his prayers and that you are faithful to answer. I pray that you put peaple around him that will encourage him and help him in his walk with you. severe existential anxiety has to leave and never again bother him. I pray that Chris is filled with the joy of the Lord and that his eyes will forever remained fixed like flint on you God. In Jesus name I pray. Amen
