Hey im Oscar and i was wanting to tell you guys that i have been thinking about this thought about like as of today. I was thinking that what do you have to do to be happy in your life? well let me tell you you can't just be happy you have to pursue it. I know there are a lot of people out there saying that they are not worth it or that they don't matter and that they are not happy. Well maybe your not pursuing it. You see happiness isn't just going to come in a snap. You have to work hard to be where you wanna be. Just like I heard and say now that " to become great, you have to had suffered." There are a lot of people that suffer each day. So i wanna say to be happy pursue it and you will be.
Anybody with thoughts or stories please share.
I am too not as happy with my life, well kind of, im blessed. I now am trying to do things right.
So please comment or reply. If you need prayer too for something I'm here to help.

A friend told me that the definition of 'joy' is being happy in an unhappy situation. Choosing to be happy regardless of circumstances.
Very hard to do at times...but possible.

Good goood good topic, here are my thoughts, happiness is a feeling, so is anger, depression etc well we are not made up of emotions we only feel them. Some people try to get happiness from things or posessions which is like a high and only last for so long. Another thing I believe is that we are not promised that we will be happy all the time but we are promised that we can have a peace, and we can rest in Jesus which is far beyond better than happiness in my eyes. If we look at examples of Pauls life or john the baptist you will see they always fell on hard times , even Jesus, look at how Jesus was treated, called a liar, called names, chased out of places etc... no way he was happy all the time but I feel he had peace inside him and he could rest in the father.Rather than pursuing happiness shouldn't we pursue a peace inside our soul cause we are saved and have rest in Jesus, cause happiness comes and goes its not permanent but the peace we have inside knowing we have eternal life is something that does not go away, no one can take that from us.

Yes...Paul found peace in jail, shipwrecked, beaten, etc. The Lord told him that his Grace was sufficient for him. The peace Jesus says He gives us is not like the peace of the world. Peace of mind & soul when everything else around us is chaotic.

Happiness is external,but true joy is internal. It is a fruit of the spirit.

Yea, you guys are totally right. Well i was trying to touch more in general in life. like people not doing good financially, or kids doing drugs. Some ( most) of them are not happy. But they have the chance to change that. Instead of living in a life that the family is struggiling, The kid should do better in school and try to have a better life. A lot of people do not realize that happiness of life like not having problems with money in the future is right in front of them but its just won't come to them they have to pursue it. You know what i mean?
