crazy youth group things! posted in General on 11/18/10 @ 10:04 AM by Zombie Pickles

Okay people what is the craziest thing you have seen or participated in in your youth group. Last night, we had a egg nog chugging (not drinking) contest. 4th place baby! Although I did throw up. I was up against 10th grade boys.
~~~~~~~~
Or one time, we had to make PB&J on our youth leader armpits (male leaders thank you very much) we spread PB on one pit J on the other than put bread on it took the bread off and ate it.
My youth pastor is crazy Okay.
I am asking the questiojn assuming yall go to youth groups or have gone in the past. If not, that is OK.
Nope, there's no youth group in my town.
I went once though when I was visiting a friend somewhere else and it was their first one of the year so they were going pretty crazy, but I forget some of the stuff they did.
Okay - I think the youth group I went to may just win the crazy contest....
1) Couch cam
-2 teams (green/gold)
-each equipped with a couch and a camera man
-list of places you can go all over town that worth certain points if you get the whole team on video on the couch at that place (more points if you can get the couch into the store of restaurant)
-extra points for witnessing to people
- extra point for employees or other people not from group sitting on couch
-sometimes extra points for items - e.g. french fries form McDonald's, ect.
2)Shocker ball
-2 teams
-6ft ball
- soccer field
- anything goes rules
- goal is to make as many goals as possible
- gets violent; wrestling, being trampled because you are wrestling
3) The fugitive
-2 teams, (each team had multiple groups of 5-6)
-list of clues - that led to more hidden all over town
- first team to find the fugitive (which was someone dressed up from the church) wins
There are more, but these are the craziest (all pretty crazy though - and tons of fun - man I miss being in youth)!!
Here's one - When I was in youth group, the pastor had a sermon series on how things go in order - Marriage before sex, Jesus before the World, etc.
Starting the sermon for the first time, he got a blender, and a mcDonald's happy meal.
To a curious and slightly disgusted audience, he put in the fries, the burger without the bread, and orange soda - and blended it all together.
Then, he dared a girl and a guy to drink it - and they did. First time, the guy couldn't drink more than a sip, while the girl drank it all.
We did the same with a taco bell meal, and some from burger king.
We've also did the whole 'mento and coke' thing in the church parking lot, while the sermon for that was that when Christ (the mento) is introduced to our lives (the coke) we explode with joy and the good news, and worship for him. but sometimes, we die down, and the fizz goes away, but we are never the same, always different.
We've made a potato gun... but i honeatly dont think there was a point to that one other than making a potato gun. XD
A LOT of fun. =]
oh, we've also had the 'messy olympics' though I wasnt a part of that - some pictures ive seen are of peoples faces covered in syrup, trying to get the most cheerios on their faces without their fands. XD
Zombie Pickles - 11/23/10 @ 2:58 PM
My youth group went to this haunted corn maze I was too chicken to go, but my brother went and he said it was really scary.....
My youth group drops things off our 2-story building. Lol. And we play games. We have ping-pong tournaments. And a lot of other weird things that I cant think of right now
