Above is a link to a website where you can go to and view current and past stories about congress and government and athiest groups who are trying everything in their power to get rid of Jesus out of Christmas all the way from traditions in the white house to trying to get cities to ban putting up nativity scenes in front of city buildings.

yeah... Just some info that really dosnt make local news but its a HUGE deal especially to us as more and more of christians rights are being taken away. Its like we live in a country of freedom of religion except for Jesus. Notice God is never really a big deal because God is viewed as a General religious term related to many false religions but Jesus did warn us that his name would offend!

not to sound like a JW byt if you do your homework you will find that Christmas was merely the Christian or rather catholic assimilation of the pagan solstice...if we want to keep Jesus as the center of the season then we need to lift up His name every season..

PutHisBloodOnIt - 11/14/10 @ 3:17 AM

No we need to lift up his name everyday, but we do not care about people and winter solstice and there false religion and teachings. Even though the bible or Jesus never celebrated his birth or we because we don't know the exact date does not mean we cannot show appreciation of the day our saviour was born and have another reason to come together is his name. Some people let false teachings and other pagan traditions interfere with our christian celebrations. If someone does not want to celebrate the birth of Jesus that is finne because we are not instructed to but on the other hand do not tell someone its wrong to celebrate the birth of Jesus because no where does it say we should not.

You can't take Christ out of Christmas. It just stinks that people want to remove it to make everything so "PC" it is a christian holiday and if I feel like saying Happy Christmas to someone I am going to.
