I do not agree with any of these shirts c28 is advertising or thinking about making, the new political shirts,I think it sends out a message that voting is not important when it really is especially in this time period when they are trying to remove God from government etc...I am dissapointed in c28 for this.

it sent it to my wall on my facebook, they both have the political animals on the and say something among the lines of I follow God not an animal, its not that bad of a shirt but when u think about it kinda gives me the feeling of lessening the importance of voting.

did not Jesus say give unto caesar what is caesar's and God what is God's? seperation of church and state is there for the protection of both parties and should stay as such. i don't think a christian with a huge influence should politically speak out. our right to vote is our own. God doesn't care about politics but no where does it say we should not be active in voting and campaigning.

actually this brings up a good question. Should our government (led by humans, corrupted, mistake worthy people) be run by religion? should a government align themselves with a faith? i ask this because, look at englands government, look at france, spain, the inquisition, the crusades. absolute power corrupts absolutely.
PutHisBloodOnIt - 10/26/10 @ 5:41 AM
Take away the few Christians in government who do fight for Christian rights and see how fast Christianity becomes more outlawed. Study the history our founding fathers never taught seperation of church and state, seperation of church and state was brought up about 50 years ago. Read about how the early christian church was a big part of government.

you mean thomas jefferson and how he had a mistress with 3 kids, or maybe how he had two bibles. one that he could cut out all the paranormal things like demon possesions and angel sightings and the other bible was so he could read what was on the back side of said cut page? yes, 54 of the founding fathers attended church regularly. but we all know that just because you attend church doesnt mean you have the faith. also, if you read WHY america was established it was for FREEDOM from a tyrranical government that was lead byt he king of england, head of the church. they mixed faith and politics. while as christians, our faith should affect our politics, it wont work if everyone doesnt believe the same.

Honestly, if you research new world order, illuminati, I'm not trying to sway anyone by saying this. but " our votes do not determine who wins an election" the winner is predetermined; Presidents are puppets by a secret society , and they simply do what they are told. Therefore I do not vote. But this is only my outlook. :) If you think for one second our government is fighting to help our country you are completely misled, and deceived.
PutHisBloodOnIt - 10/26/10 @ 7:58 AM
Did I say that government should establish one religion? Take a look back......nope I did not. And yes many founding fathers struggled in their faith in one point in their life like we ALL do. Fact is christianity played an important role in government and our development of this country, they did not want to establish or ban other religion being practiced here but they did make sure christianity did play a role in government and laws. I'm pretty sure the bible says we can do all things through Jesus not we can do all things without Jesus. And this is what are government needs, God not to be ruled by people who oppose God.

Would you agree that when the world comes to an end, God will have purposely chosen HORRIBLE people to lead our country? Possibly people getting other people ready for the Anti-Christ? Because God is in control, and if you start looking at our leaders you will see how corrupt it is. It's no surprise to me, because God warns us in revelations, so I'm excited for the return of Christ, and I believe it's getting crazy close.
Sarah - 10/26/10 @ 8:07 AM
I'd like to know why they are implying that the government is a bunch of animals...that is hardly a Christian attitude. I am not impressed.
And voting is important for Christians. We have the right to vote, so do it! Voice your Christian opinion.
Riley - 10/26/10 @ 8:11 AM
@sarah
look up illuminati, and new world order.
Is is unChristian for me to believe God is showing me signs that our government is corrupt just like he said it would become in revelations?
PutHisBloodOnIt - 10/26/10 @ 8:26 AM
Riley to a point I agree with some of what your saying, but just because God says our government will be corrupt does not mean we as christians have to sit back and take it and not fight for what is right. And local elections do count! When you vote for city and state government it is important! City and state government depend on who you vote for will stand up and fightt for smaller government and for more rights for us. Now if u believe our president is pre determined that's your opinion but when you get christians elected in the house and senate they will stand up and fight and that has a big influence on the presidents decisions. So don't say voting does not matter because it does.
Sarah - 10/26/10 @ 8:31 AM
I agree with that.
Me - 10/26/10 @ 2:00 PM
I agree with you, phboi, on this topic
the_underdog - 10/26/10 @ 2:12 PM
phboi - how can we as christians force our perfect standards on people who dont believe? sinners are doing exactly what they are supposed to do. our government could use more compassionate christians, right or left, donkey or elephant. hands down i agree. a few more compassionate humane people would be awesome in this senate or house. heck, even my own mayer or legislation in my state could use a few more. however, i don't believe we should be forcing our standard on anyone who doesnt believe like we do.
Me - 10/26/10 @ 2:19 PM
@The underdog: I think Christians in governments'd be good to lead the state better (at least a bit more righteous in its actions), but without enforce people to be Christian nor to follow a Christian life.

I don't know if they are putting down the idea of voting so much as they are trying to say neither democrats nor republicans are the only right parties. It's kinda like church denominations. It doesn't matter the name of the party, it's their beliefs and what they will do. They are saying that no matter what party people are, they are living in a nation that was based on christian principles and they should appreciate it.
