The reason I brought up the pagan thing was to show that we are under grace from God and God knows our motives so if we do use things that was created by pagans God knows we are not doing it with intentions to serve other Gods. So I do believe we should continue and do whatever we like to do as long as we do it to worship the one true living God.

PutHisBloodOnItTyler I would have not posted the days of the week and said they were named after pagan gods if I was not sure but I looked it up and they are do some research and you will see. And about the minutes and hours that we use to tell time did come from pagans so that they could worship there gods at specific times during the day. In biblical times the jews, romans etc told time in a different way not by hours or minutes. Dont just say you dont believe me, look it up and do research and you will see. You telling me you dont believe what I said is like you telling someone Jesus is Lord and they saying I dont believe you but doesnt go and do reseaarch. I was just simply sharing with everyone things I recently discovered that we commonly use everyday that are pagan origin. Let me know what you find.

PutHisBloodOnItI will check out that video when I get a chance, everyone of those examples I gave are from pagan origin you can look it up. I wanted to point out the legalistic approach of some christians have against pagan organs in which I think is wrong. Either pagan origin practices are 100 perecent wrong and we should not do them or if we dont do them for pagan Gods its ok for us christians to do them. You pointed out you dont do easter things or halloween things but you do use hours and minutes to tell time which is pagan and you do use names of weekdays and months still, so basically you are picking and choosing which pagan origins you want to follow which I believe is hyprocritical. Do you see my point? Either all pagan origins are wrong or it does not matter you can pick and choose.

NicoleI agree. Technically, the cross was a symbol of torture. So if you wear a cross necklace, its like wearing a pendent of an electric chair, only the meaning has changed. Same for peace signs. Previously the middle part of a peace sign was an anti-christian symbol so essentially a peace sign in that symbol circled. Its not what it was supposed to be but some people have a problem with it do to that now. There are sooooooo many things that have bad roots but are not seen that way nowadays. Its about your intentions and convictions. I agree with Bobby on this issue.

DavidWell, i was raised in a church but i never really found it interesting... so once my parents moved away i told my church F you and left and joined a metal band that mocked all things God and had a pure hatred for all people. Then for no reason at the time i started to get scared to walk in the dark and then people started talking to me about God and 2 friends stepped in and then i got saved. He was currently on a radio station here in Detroit, one of the shows I listen to everyday interviewed him and he also had a new book that came out if you did not know. But he mentioned another member of the band who turned christian but is still with the band, how cool would it be if all the Korn members turned to Christ. About the rules, I do believe in somethings such as baptism but dont think its neccesary to be saved though and a few other things, but your right even Jesus warned us about these man made beliefs, I think we are better off just to label ourself as a follower of Christ. ok guys. i have this feeling to help Serial killers. i dont know why or how i would help them. but i feel like God wants me to help them in some way. what do you guys think about this? i mean what if we could help more Serial killers. like Jeffrey Dahmer who be came a christian in prison. or ted bundy who also be came a christian in prison. i mean how awesome would it be if charles manson be came a christian. after the things he did. if he came to God God would for give him. ok.. i know this is probably the freakiest topic ever! but im doing a school report on jeffrey dahmer. now i know a lot of you are probably wondering why. well my youth leader told me he got saved when he was in prison. and i love reading storys about how people like him can get saved. well can anyone tell me anything about him? is he really saved? did he really find God befor he died? no one will ever know his heart. only God will. but what do the facts say? did he act like it? if anyone can tell me anythung about him id like to know! thinks God bless!!

She has much pain in reading small letter words. My mother also needs a super giant print bible. There are 12 aged mothers who are widows also in need of super giant print bibles. how do you guys feel about cussing? the bible says we should show we are christians threw everything we do. and we should show that we are the body of Christ. so,e people think its ok to cuss. i dont think it is. i dont think its right to call yourself a christian and cuss. the bible says not to let evil things control your body. or your month. i think this makes it clear. but what do you think?
