I was born of flesh, forged in iniquity, dead in spirit, and blind to truth. I was called out of the world, purged of iniquity, reborn, renewed, and resurrected in Christ. I walk this walk bold, courageous, and standing tall. For greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world.
To paraphrase. Don''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''t let your actions tell a different story than your mouth.

jake Hey, I think that the forum got a little out dated. I dont always have a computer where I am . Just know that there is a Christian civil war going on man. It is the people who are in it for the excellence or the glory. It doesnt always look "right," but neither did Jesus. He didnt accept the Pharisaical traditions or the God inspired fasting of John. He followed the voice of the Father and that is exactly what the sons of God are doing now. Look up Ian Clayton, because He is the greatest man of God Ive ever heard of. And He is right. Be blessed man and I hope and pray that the knowledge of your true identity in Christ would permeate everything and you will radiate Him!

C28 Street Team Stats
Can you believe it? This person isn't on the C28 Street Team :)
Original Prayer Request (posted 3 Years Ago): Build me up on rock and not on wavering sand. Make me as willful clay molded in Your divine hand. Break all within me that is not of You. Give me the mouth to say and the will to do. Cleanse me of me until all they can see. Is that greater is He that resides within me. Make me as your Son submissive to your will. May my light not be hidden as a city on a hill. Surround me with angels for my protection. May you be the benefactor of all my affection. May I be consumed by your love and your righteous light. Ground me on firm ground to fight the righteous fight. You laid down your life and paid the ultimate price. But three days later i was resurrected with Christ. May your will be done. As your kingdom approach. May we live worthy and above reproach. Not by our own strength lest no man boast. But by Your stripes Jesus with you as my coach. I pass this on to by sisters, brothers, and friends. That we may continue seeking His face. In Jesus name, Amen.
Just wondering how you guys feel on the topic and how you would respond if someone were to pose this question to you.
Throughout the Old Testament (look especially in Deuteronomy and Joshua) God instructed the warrior men of Israel to kill off all surrounding territories to claim the promised land. This included all men, women, and the one we all struggle with- children. As Christians, how can we advocate protecting the lives of the unborn when God declared mass infanticide in the O.T.? Is there a discrepancy? Why or why not?
Your question is not a rational hypothetical. God does not speak to man in the same manner as He did the prophets. So there is no situation that would make this hypothetical a probable reality. There is no context where God has said, “hey go kill some kids just because." Now God has told His prophets and kings to go kill the whole inhabitants of a nation because His anger was kindled against them. So if God called upon me in the times He used man as His hands of judgment then I Would respond by obedience I pray.
Heres a link if you're interested. Not trying to change minds, but I hope that you'll read with an open bible, heart, and mind. :)

I have heard all of these arguments and there exegetical rollercoaster is horribly flawed. They ignore very profound biblical truths for the sake of justifying homosexuality. I am an ex-gay so I can tell you that this bible wrestling does nothing but confuse those who may sincerely desire freedom.
So every Sun at my Church they offer the 2 sacrament's, Flesh and blood. Well my concern is this, I ALWAYS take the body of Christ but have yet to take the blood of Christ, reason is because ppl drink off the same grail, it keeps cleaned off with a rag ya but iam a HUGE germ freak LOL. Does this make me not as whole?
I mean I want erernal life (Who does not? LOL) but its hard for me because of what I stated.
Thanks everyone!
The communion is symbolic not literal. There is no literal blood or body present in communion. Nevertheless it is important to do so in remembrance and in a proper posture of heart.
Hey, guys! I recently got out of a long-term relationship. My boyfriend broke up with me because he said he had some things to figure out in his life and he never told me what was going on, even though we used to tell each other everything. We were best friends. Now he moved to Kentucky and he won't talk to me anymore. It's been really hard because I miss him so much and he never even gave me a reason why he ended it. It was so abrupt. One day, everything was perfect and the next it was over. I'm finding strength in God and I know I'm going to get through it, it's just been really hard. Anybody have any advice? This is my first serious break up.
I love the Bible and I love having reasons for my faith, but I admit, there are some topics that I have still yet to know the full answer. I know in part that some knowledge is gleaned from discussing the issues with other believers, which is why I'm here posing this question. Why were concubines permitted in the Old Testament, yet, God forbid adultery- even in the heart? David was a man after God's own heart, yet he had many wives and concubines. Certainly, God did not encourage numerous marriages and concubines, but why was there a prevalence of this among God's own people?
Hello all, these were a series of questions posed to me today and I was wondering what your thoughts were on the issue. Is the phrase "God hates the sin, but loves the sinner" accurate? Who coined the phrase? Does it have Biblical origins? I would love to hear your thoughts on the matter!:)
I haven't seen anyone post scripture that states God loves the sinner but hates the sin. There are clear biblical passages that state the opposite. Now we know God is love, and that He so loved the cosmos (the word rendered world in John 3:16 from the Greek Septuagint), but we have no passage of scripture that agrees in totality with this phrase. though this may be unpopular I'm based on Sola Scriptura.
Ok. Here's the deal. My father believes that if you pray God will heal you. If you aren't healed then it's your sin or lack of faith stopping it.
Not sure I'm on board with his beliefs.
What do you all believe?
If a Christian girl and non-Christian guy date, does it mean it's not going to work out? What could possible go wrong? There may be a little difference but what if they both are interested in other things?
tHE SCRIPTURE SAYS bE NOT UNEQUALLY YOKED WITH UNBELIEVERS. TO DO SO WOULD BE TO BECOME UNEQUALLY YOKED FOR THE SAKE OF ONE'S OWN DESIRE AND PLEASURE. IT IS CERTAINLY UNWISE AND CONTRARY TO THE BIBLE'S ADVISE.
The Bible says homosexuality is wrong, so this topic is not to debate whether it is or not. This is to debate whether is should be legalized or not. The question is: Should Christians fight against the legalization of same sex marriages?
John and Stephen you are both right & wrong for various reasons.
Right.
1. The whole duty of man is to serve God. So ultimately our first priority is to forward the gospel message.
2. Marriage is not defined by the state but by God so no matter how the state decides to redefine marriage they cannot change the true context and entity of marriage.
3. Homosexual couples (if not redeemed) will act in their sin whether its legislated or not.
Wrong.
1. The word politics comes from Greek meaning of, for, or relating to citizens. All things political relate to us a citizens of a nation therefore in every manner we are involved in politics.
2. While it is often said that we cannot legislate morality that statement is often misunderstood in its implications. We cannot pass legislation that will force people to be moral people. By nature people are immoral so no amount of legislation can make a person moral; however, we cannot legislate without morality. All legislation comes from someon's morality or lack thereof. People believe that the right thing to do is grant gays equal rights. that is a moral decision. Therefore an attempt to legislate morality. So what the Christian aims to do is to present a morality based on Christ and focused on the gospel that upholds Christ's moral convictions. We do play a role in politics. Politics is not the means to changing and saving men but in all affairs as they relate to citizens we should aim to have a system that reflects the gospel.
3. @Stephen it doesn't matter whether our actions affect God's judgment the fact is that we as Christians should ultimately care for God's established order and the profaning of what God calls holy. Matrimony is a holy thing. So though it does not effect us in terms of our marriage or our salvation it doesn't mean that we should remain in our little box and leave the affairs of the nation to those without Christian centered morals. If it is not our place to show Chrost centered morality through the citizenship and through political means then whose jon is it. Should only the satanist be involved in politics?
4. Just because we are in a different cultural context does not mean the scriptures are silent about our responsibility. God establishes the rulers and governements. Therefore that we are in a democratic republic is not an accident. that we have freedom to vote, speak freely, and even freedom to protest the decisions of the government are freedoms that the christian should utilize for the gospels sake. To think that our theology is only for the religious compartment of our life and has nothing to do with the political and civil aspects of our lives is foolish thinking.
Why do sum people dislike the idea of age differences in relationships, especially when teenagers date someone a little older... maybe 3-6 years older? Does it say anywhere in the Bible it is wrong for a teenage girl to date an older guy? What about 16-year-old and 22-year-old dating?
