Please pray for a friend of me. She has been sexually abused/aggressed for the 6th time last week.
That's her own words: "I feel like my life is fading away". It's so hard that she's fearing boys in general, even those in which she trusted.
I don't know what to do nor what to tell her (except pray for her days and nights), as this is the 6th time that happens, and I'm in Germany so I can only talk to her via Skype.
Please pray for her, for God protect her from another aggression, and for he rebuilds her broken heart and mind. If you have Bible passages that may help her, please tell me, but not verses like "God will protect you/takes care of you" because after the 6th time it happens, it's hard for her to believe that.
Thanks
ps: It's very less important, but if you can also pray for me, because it's hard and hurtful for me to hear what she's going through, as she holds a big part of my heart, and being unable to help her doesn't help.
I will make sure to keep her in my prayers as well as you. It's such a shame to hear about what she's going through. This one might not be what you'd want, but it's what I have so far.
1 peter 5:6-7
Alright, I recently heard a new style of music that I enjoy (at the moment) and I'm not a fan of the lyrics since they aren't very uplifiting (at all really). So, I actually felt lead to try and rewrite the lyrics to have a Christian message to them and would like an opinion from someone who likes rock/electronic rock styles of music and who would be willing to listen to the song and read along with the new lyrics that I have written. (I normally hate electronic style music, but for some reason I got hooked on this one)
Keep in mind that it is a mainstream song, and that the lyrics I switched out were written kinda fast. I just need an honest opinion on whether its good, needs a little work or I should just scrap it. (I am not a song writer either lol)
So, if you would like to help me out, I can privately send you the video link (YouTube) and give you the lyrics either by Wall, Facebook or email and then you can get back to me.
Thank you! God Bless!
I feel as long as it's worshiping God, the type of music doesn't matter.
Some people/bands I listen to: The Almost, Underoath, Ivoryline, The Devil Wears Prada, Brian Head Welch, Toby Mac,Manafest,Decyfer down, Destroy the runner, Haste the day, Eowyn, Fireflight, Flyleaf, Kutless, Leeland, Sanctus Real, Mercy Me,Pillar,Red, Seven Place, Thousand Foot Krutch... and thats just to name a few..

Sweat the sick out. That's what I do. Sweats to sweat! lol lots of blankets and soup. lots of water. and do things that makes you happy that doesn't require you to do a lot of movement like movies or tv shows.
There has been a lot of suicide in the Lgbt community. And As a gay christian I feel the need to say to all the people who come on this site whether they be Lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgendered/transexual, or even questioning there is hope! And suicide is never an option!
And to those who are straight who know people are have friends who are gay let them know that you care about their well being and encourage them to be themselves...Because honestly closests are for clothes.
And our acronym for G.A.Y is.
God.Accepts.You
So just making c28 aware.
It's sad to hear about all these suicides in the LGBT community. I wish more people can just say,"Live the way you like, I will not judge you for it. I am a Christian, you are a Christian, I don't care about your sexual preference." God loves all his children no matter what. End of story. I'm glad you made this topic Nazira. God Bless.
I'm 21. When I was younger, of course abstinence was preached to me. Needless to say, I wasn't a smart cookie. I've been taking a look back and thinking about my past. Purity rings were never a big thing when I was younger. I don't remember having ever heard of them until I got a little older. I've taken a second vow to remain abstinent from here on out and have been thinking about getting a purity ring. Is it too late to get one? Would it be wrong of me to get one?
I don't know about anyone else here, but I listen to Joel Osteen from time to time and I got this from him. It made me feel at ease, so I just wanted to share it with all of you today on this wonderful Sunday. God Bless you ALL.
"God is with us through our times of faith and our times of doubt. You may have questions, and there may be things you don't understand that cause you to wonder where God is. But God is there. He is not a fair-weathered God; there for us when we're perfect and gone when we have questions. He is there when we don't understand, when we go through a loss. God is touched by the feelings of our infirmities. That means when you hurt, God hurts. When you're disappointed, God feels your pain. When you're discouraged, God know what it's like. In those times that we don't understand and feel alone and abandoned, God is not far away. He has a way of showing up and doing amazing things. The God we serve doesn't just show up in our times of faith, He even shows up in our times of doubt."
