My name is Riley, I''''m 21 and live in spring Texas. I grew up with divorced parents, and in NO way was it easy. I shed many tears as a kid, that often times I wasn''''t sure if I was capable of crying. I believe I was "saved" about 2 years ago. I was unaware of how "Big" God really is. What I mean by that is, Before I was saved I had no clue God could control my life in so many positive ways. I had no idea of how true his unimaginable love is. So God became a much bigger part of my life a relationship. I believe we all struggle with different issues but it is how you handle them that proves your loyalty to God. I am now in college and still looking for My purpose through God, I am in college not sure which direction I''''m going. I Love singing and playing guitar!

I struggled a lot with porn addiction, anxiety, and lust, and it took Gods light through other Christians and His merciful hand to take those away from my life. JaplaceAh, nice nice. Is it a rose stem? i have seen something like that on a Van Halen signature guitar. Yup i play :) I play electric and acoustic. I have a Schecter electric, and an Ovation acoustic. and about 6 other random "junky" guitars that i never use.lol.

Rileyyes it is a rose stem haha now that im looking at it. and ya ovations make some real nice acoustics! I have been teaching myself how to play for almost 2 yrs now, and it has been a lot of fun! I like doing alot of Jason Mraz covers and music of that sort. and I cant wait till I get my second guitar, I want a classical nylon guitar * more for fingerpicking songs.

StephanieYeah - lol just trying not to be too settled on what im gonna do - def have to pray about it more before I will be certain. Yeah - I think starting your career will def be exciting; at that point it will feel like all the schooling is worth it.
I believe I need prayer, I have struggled with a porn addiction and anxiety. I pray every night, but sometimes it doesnt feel very spirt-filled, other times its awesome! My wife's uncle is a disabled Marine. He is suffering from a disease called RSD, he is in constant pain all the time and can not work a normal job. Music is his outlet. Play it for everyone you know and pray for him. Post this on your wall to help. He has been denied social security benefits and he will be evicted from ...his home if he can not find work through his music or his book he is writing soon. Please pray for him!

It's easy to give without love. But it's absolutely impossible to love without giving. Love takes trust and dependability. It's something that cannot be seen but is felt such as any other emotion. Today in church I felt my love for Jesus grow and couldn't help but that feeling of generosity grow on me. Anyone else know what I mean? It's like you can't have 1 without the other and there has been times in this life when I gave just to give.. But when I gave whole-heartedly I felt as if there's no limit... as if I got a new sense of pleasure from watching the happiness of others instead of anything centering me. That's the power of god. That's what I'd like to refer to as "giving god the glory" :)
Encouraging! I think people who don't have God, don't know what true love is, because God is true love. They think of love as possessions or lust or an image. Love is so unique and precious and thats awesome you share this kind of Love with our Lord :)
lately, i've been struggling with loneliness and in turn i seek some fulfillment whether it be porn, drinking, or cigarettes. I'm not an alcoholic, i hate smoking , but i need God to help me. well first understand Love is from God.
1 Corinthians 13: 4-7 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
As a human, we fail at defining love because we have twisted/distorted views of what love is.
So it's best to use scripture :)
I work in a grocery store and see lots of people they always ask how im doing and it hit me, im always saying im doing good or nothing shaking but the leaves in the trees things like that lol, but then it hit me every thing I do is on faith walking talking helping etc.. so now when asked how am i doing ( I SAY IM WALKING ON WATER ) everyday im walking to Jesus and that takes faith !!!!!
