I have a friend who has an eating disorder and feels like God isnt listening and feels as if there isnt one but she isnt sure. If you could pray for her that would be greatly appreciated since she is a good friend who is a great person but is going through crap. She is only 16 and Im trying to help her when the whole world and her family just beats away her character and the love out of her.

So this weekend I got my upper pierced. A single helix. I love the look! I'm going to get another piercing in my ear and a small cute little stud in my nose. Then I'm getting my hair highlighted purple all over this summer. (I lost a bet) but I'm stoked for this half of a makeover I'm getting in a month! (= I just wanted to ask you guys if you think it's wrong that I'm getting all this stuff done. I mean, the bible says to treat your body like a temple but I think God loves us no matter how we look. Feedback?

I think anything you do to your body diminishes your perfect look. God made us in his image and he is perfect and beautiful. Yeah, God loves you NO MATTER WHAT. Thats unconditional love! I don't believe in getting tattoos more for a personal or "social" reason rather than through the bible but that will probably change in the coming years. Its a sketchy area and ultimatly will come down to what an individual thinks about it most of the time. I would love for you to take it out but thats because I can't stand piercings or tattoos. When I see face piercings I automatically think of "punks" and that gives off hostility to me. Look to God always and he will guide you in the right direction.

speaking in tongues

how do you guys fell about praying to God in tongues? i believe speaking in tongues is a gift from God. i pray in tongues ALL the time! but when i first started i couldnt do it vary long. and after reading brian heads new book. he said how its a gift. and God helps you speak longer. and now i can pray in tongues forever!! if you have ever spoke in tongues you know it sounds CRAZY!! but it brings in the love/spirit of God like no other prayer. and the feeling you get is awesome!!! but some people dont believe in speaking in tongues. do you? tell me what you think!!!

Do any of you think that if somebody doesn't speak in tongues or has a spiritual gift they are not really saved? I went to a church like that for a while but when I learned that I was very offended because as of right now I don't recognize any spiritual gifts.
