Adriaheyyy Cody wells I wouldnt have read that book The Shack if I didnt know it was going to have false statements in there. But that is what puzzled me because I will never question the Bible and things in the Shack werent what the Bible said. I just heard it was a great book but now it sucks because now I realy dont know what books to read .

Your abs are just like any other muscle on your body they can get bigger but they also need rest and no need to work them out everyday. Alot of people are also too impatient and give up like after a month. My best advice eat clean natural foods nothing processed with low carbs, high protein, medium fat intake such as polyunsaturated and monounsaturated fats for energy. Your diet is more important than which exercises you do, once you start losing body fat you will start to see your abs more.

Josihey Cody, i dont mind that you offended me, and i think i cleared it up on the forum, about how even tho you werent saying that God doesnt care about us and just not our "worldly affairs", the fact the he does care about us is part of why he would care about our worldly affairs. i appreciate your trying to clear that up with me. i realize we have different opinions, but its important to have them backed up especially by the BIble, and if it doesnt line up with the Bible, then it should lead to change and spiritual growth and as you grow with God youll find that your opinions will be backed by the Bible.God bless.

Is it okay for Christians to listen to secular Music?? Like for example, I love rap music, is it ok for me to listen to Eminem and Lil Wayne? Or for people who like rock music, is it okay for them to listen to bands like Likin Park???

Hey guys! It seems like everyone around here has been a bit on edge lately. Winter blues I guess. So I wanted to post a question just for fun :)
What is your favorite super hero and why?
Slaves in those days were much more common. Most were willing to be slaves. It meant having food, shelter, and no worries of having to take care of yourself. If you were a homeless person, that would seem pretty nice.
Now thats how things were "supposed" to work. Of course you had masters who were cruel and things like that but in theory, it ends up helping people out.
I am not for slavery by any means but thats just how it was.
So, one of my old favorite bands was AFI. They are an Emo/Punk band. Either way, I was looking fo a Christian Alternative because it's something I like to do, but I ended up googling "Christian Goth Music" because emo/goth can be similar. What I found was the mass of very close minded Christians.
They said things like "Christian Goth is a paradox" and "If a goth says they are Christian then they have never truly seen God" and other harsh things of the like.
So, i wanted to share two things I found:
1. C28 forum is even more of an awesome, welcoming place to be then I had fist thought (Which I thought highly of in the first place) So props to everyone on here because we are all pretty open minded Christians on this site, willing to recognize people's opinions while always grounding those opinions in Scripture.
2. Wavorly is the closest thing I found to AFI, but their new album is a bit too pop-punk sounnding :/ the song "Part One" from them is pretty awesome though.
That's all, I'm just proud to consider myself a member of this awesome family. If you know of any more bands that are the same genre besides the obvious like flyleaf, skillet and emery (Whom I don't see the resemblance of genre besides with Emery) than please share, but the main point I wanted to share was how awesome all of you are.

@Craig you should check out this band I found called "SaviorMachine" You might like them, and at the least, you will get a kick out of them. When Christianity tries to be that dark it just makes me smile. When you watch you will see what I mean. And I LOVE HB! they are really awesome. Jesus Metal Explosion! lol
If you were writing an essay based on the Romeo and Juliet play discussing whether these two characters were truly in love and what love really means, what would you write in that essay? Do you think that this play is an illustration on the definition of love or is it just what the world thought of as love?
lol I hate the play. Shakespeare wrote way better work than this one.I think it was lust. For one, they didn't really know each other. Romeo had just broke up with Rosaline and in the beginning of the play you read about his "love" for her that is gone as soon as he sees Juliet.
Though, Juliet went to great lengths to be with Romeo, I still think it was just an infatuation, and a teenage obsession. There is a moment when Juliet's father threatens to banish her too. She could have said yes and left, but she hesitates and that's why she has to go through such great lengths with the funeral and such.
