My bio

Hey everybody! Im Kelsea and Im 20. Just an ordinary person with an extraordinary Savior. Jesus is my life.

I recently got back from doing a Discipleship Training School with YWAM. We just got back from a trip to Peru and got to see God work in so many lives there. I love talking about missions, ministry and God! Now I'm just on the road of seeing where God wants me to go next.

Im pretty shy until you get to know me, but am always up for a good conversation and meeting new people!

Oh, and I love Christian music. Some of my favorite bands: Thousand Foot Krutch, Abel, Chasen, Anberlin, Brandon Heath, Chasen, RED, Jeremy Camp, Skillet...and many more!

I LOVE watching NHL hockey. Im a Pens and Lightning fan.....

Favorite Scripture

John 3:30

Rob Bell Thats really cool you wanna go into missions. It takes a huge heart filled with Gods love to do that :) Yeah I wanna be a pastor, mainly for like youth and possible in the future for College students also, because I think Young Adults ministry is a very important thing now a days. So many leave high school and their youth group and go to College or what not and maybe feel disconnected and lose faith a lot.

However, the main thing I think God wants me to do right now is to stay faithful at the small things. He`ll provide the oppotunities.

Zombie Pickles About you idea, well, no and yes. IT all depends what you do with it, because you can portray Dark and Light as a person or a thing or some leader that they just mention but you never really see. It sounds great! Yes, it is hard to talk about writing with people that dont write. One time in science class I was sitting there and this awesome idea came to me so I said loudly "Oh my gosh that is an AWESOME idead for a story!" And everyone treats me weird now. Oh well, the life of an author.

So the usually win.... But one time, I got Cameron out without knowing and I made it to the end with Jared and Daniel, so think I won...... Anyway, do you play normal dodgeball or do you play a certain kind.

I had a pretty good Christmas. My family went to some friends for dinner and then just pretty much hung out all day. Vanessa If I go, itll be next January. That way I can have an extra semester to finish my grade 12 stuff and I can already have my college applications in before I leave. Ive always been homeschooled too :) And all the sports I play....my parents coach, so any trip Im on theyre always there. lol. Well, there are some schools that their Sports DTS are specific, they have some for soccer (which I thought of going to) and hockey (guys only) but most are just learning/playing all sports. I asked how they decide what sports to do at Newcastle and they said it was what each of the students was used to playing/interested in along with learning some popular local sports, rugby for example. I like that because I play virtually every sport, and since they dont have a school for my most competitive sport, Id like to be able to play all kinds.

This weekend I went and looked at where I want to go to school and then of course went to church. But thats about it! Hey sorr it has taken so long I had a REALLY busy week. I agree picnic tables and things would be kind of fun except for the fact I was kicked out of Drama club painting parties because I was so bad at painting a wall ;D. Im thinking of rereading mere Christianity now because the first time through I realised I did a lot of highlighting and didnt really actually read it I got the main concepts but not everything I could have...how was forgotten by God (if your done with it)? what was it about would you recommend it?Similar to your previous weekend I got to go this past friday (yesterday) to A college I would like to go to! I went and checked out northwestern College in MN and it was AMAZING! Andrew Yah I think it is pretty good so far I think this was a hard one for Lewis though because for the first time I catch him with some ill placed logic but the other logistics in it make up for them. Yah I dont know if I ever will. You know the story about Tolkien and Lewis right? If so I recommend reading the "Chronicles of the Imaginarium Geographica" they are a pretty cool read. I know what you mean with Dekkers books but once you get what he is saying it sort of flows. Have a Good time in Chicago!

Andrew I cant re-read books very well because of the partial photographic memory I can pretty much remember every page that I turn to and I dont like knowing whats going to happen next Tolkien was a GREAT writer but like you said I am one that can not follow it (of course I can follow shakespears words perfectly ;/). "Children of Hurin" sounds like an amazing read. I have actually read the hobbit way back when I thought it was fun to read but could have been much shorter for the book it was (it couldnt keep my attention). right now I am reading "miricales" by C.S. lewis hbu?

Andrew Ya those books are in the suspense section in christian book stores I believe. Those titles should at least give me a looking place right? Havent you already read the screwtape letters (are you rereading it)? I tried once to read books by Tolkien but they couldnt hold my attention long so I decided to wait a while before I tried again. I have not heard of his new book that is great do you know what it is about?

Andrew The screwtape letters are a definte eye opener I had not even considered pretty much any of that before I had read it. (though the one part I did consider before reading it is when he is in the christian community and he thinks he is a "good christian" but in reality he was not even close)I have to copies of mere christianity at my house lol my mothers and my own. are you thinking of heavens wager that you have not read? To tell you the truth I have not read those books by Ted dekker I have read his circle series and obsessed but I am really looking forward to reading more of his work I think adam would be next on my list to read though that caught my attention the most. What are the letters named I was thinking of getting those in the next couple months. what are you reading at the current time?

Andrew I had never heard of The C.S. Lewis letters until I saw them in a bookstore! Theyre split up into three different books, but what Ive read in the first is really good. It gives you a different insight into his life, and struggles. Ive read the Screwtape Letters but I have yet to read Mere Christianity, but I heard it was amazing. Maybe Ill have to give Green another try! The Bride Collector and read moreBonemans Daughter were okay. Not some of my favorite by him. But Id say the Bride Collector is worth reading. Theyre both along the lines of House and Skin. So if you liked those, youll probably like these. Ill have to look up that book! Is always looking for something new to read. I started reading Obssesed awhile ago, and for some reason I put it down and then I just couldnt get back into it! Have you read the When Heaven Weeps series?Hey sorry it has been a while but I was helping my Grandma out for the past week and she does not have a computer anyway I will have have to check his letters out they sound amazing! What did you think of the screwtape letters? Mere christianity is definetly worth the read! it pretty much sums up all the comman questions non-believers and believers alike ask and removes any doubt. I think all of ted dekkers books start off kind of slow but when you get half way through you dont want to put it down! I have not read the when heaven weeps series but I got $40 for my birthday from my aunt to spend on books so that has been on my list to read for a while have you read them yet?

Andrew I have not heard of C.S. Lewis letters I am reading his "signature classics" (mere christianity, screwtape letters, etc. I have also finished the two mentioned). Green was not very disappointing to me for a reason that my friend couldnt stop complaining about the ending so I knew how it ended before I started it :(,But i would have to say it is a very amazing book in the whole entirety of it and I believe I will be reading it again in a while but I lent it to my english teacher and his wife (they both go to one of the chuches I go to and she was looking for some summer reading) I have not read either of the books bonemans daughter or bride collector What did you think of them? I have heard about the purpose driven life being disscussed on here lately but for a past time reading I would suggest "ten dumb things smart christians believe" by Larry OsborneI would have to say "obsessed" is defienetly a lot like his other books but still amazing. it starts off as a slow read and then the last 100-200 pages you cant put it down very intresting though and worth the read (it has to do with the holocaust)

Andrew Yah most definetly Ted Dekker is my favorite current time author. (c.s. lewis takes the cake for my favorite though) what did you think of circle series? where did you start? I started with the circle (chosen, infedel, renegade, etc.) and they were my favorite thoroughout my reading all 13 books (all the series that intertwine circle trilogy the circle series and the paradise trilogy and green that binds them all). I just got done reading his book "obsessed" what are you reading currently?
