c m first off, no offense taken. you have to go pretty far to offend me. secondly, i don't understand how you can tell me not to post my problems with other designers (which i have never done) on the site, then you go and post your issues with me on the site. take your own advice and message me personally, not on the site for everyone to see. i could personally care less, but it seems hypocritical to tell me one thing, while doing it yourself. lastly, i do contact canvas a lot about different things. i agree, i probably should not have posted that, but it wasn't a slander at all. all i said was that i wish they could be on top of things like the japan quake and whatnot, because it could be very beneficial. i in no way slandered the people that run canvas. just stated a thought that could be beneficial. i would start my own if i 1. had the time, 2. had the resources, 3. had the money. starting my own site would cost money for a while before it started making money. as far as my intentions for being a canvas member, it is to enter a christian design contest, because that's what this site is. as well as help younger designers with questions (see my video tutorials, my advice threads, etc), and bring a sense of excellence and push everyone to always improve, and get more creative. overall, there's very few people with the guts to be honest with eachother on here. being a christian does not mean lying to someone and telling them theyre design is great when it's really not. what most people don't get is how to handle criticism. look at adam grason's latest design. he's a very talented illustrator, and the most recent one he posted, definitely was on it's way, but i felt that he rushed certain things, and was the only one who had the guts to say so. he knows how to handle critiques, and it shows. he actually ended up agreeing with me. that's where most people go wrong here, they just get offended when someone says "this needs work" without actually thinking that the person might be right. i'm not saying i'm right all the time, but it's something to consider when someone has a suggestion or says that it needs work. i've actually seen this changing lately, there are more talented designers giving helpful critiques and pushing to bring that sense of excellence to the table here. anyways, this is way too long of a comment so i'll end here: thanks for your input, but i believe you misinterpreted what i was saying, and i apologize if it came off as slandering to the site, it was not intended to do so.

JAH Had a feeling that was the case. That's a travesty!!! I've got a DTG Viper printer sitting upstairs just itching to print some great designs! 17x31 full color full shirt prints in seconds! We should figure out something to get your designs printed! Let me know if you have any ideas? Figure out a plan...we are missing a great opportunity I think? Still can keep doing stuff for canvas, but all the ones that don't make their cut and we feel worthy of print...let's print and see what happens...thoughts? Let me know. We can even print your on label inside.

JAH Glad to hear everything is going good with the fam and ministry...oh and tshirt stuff!! Awesome!! So are you printing any if your own tees? If so what gear are you using? I'm using a DTG Viper which is a digital machine that will print 4 up and up to 17" x 31" full color full shirt!! Put a lot of money into it. Fams growing...now have two kidos and one on the way!! Worship ministry is super busy...about 120-150 dates this year and next years looking as busy if not busier. Well let me know if you need anything..would love tp help you in any way I can!! God speed!!! JAH!!!
