I have been really feeling that God wants me to become closer to Him. I have been learning so much about Him and so much about myself through Him! please pray tht i continue to stay strong, fight the temptations that i have on a hourly basis and to totally let go, to put Christ in control of my life!!
WELL! He has stopped drinking everyday like he used to, and only drinks on the weekends which is a huge improvment from before!!! We havent had a really in depth faith talk yet, so please keep praying for that opportunity, because he will be moved from his spot next to me within a couple of days! Thanks!!
Original Prayer Request (posted 3 Years Ago): I have a friend at work that i am around constantly. He says he believes in God and that Jesus was the Son of God, but he doesnt believe anything else in the BIble! he spends most of his nights drinking heavily. I have been trying to talk to him about these things but he keeps saying that he doesnt think those things in the bible could happen. God is great and can work wonders on him, please pray for him!!!!

the world feels that on december.22,2012 the world will end or some kind of catastraphe will happen..due to the accuracy of the mayan calender and how it ended on that date...So personally I don;t believe any of that because I will not believe the report of the mayans or the world i will believe the report from the lord God almighty. What are your views on it??
i dont think it is. everyone is expecting it to happen, and therefore it wont. the bible says that the Son of God will come like a theif in the night, when everyone is least expecting it. it could even happen BEFORE 2012. no one knows! like the _underdog, i think they were just too lazy to finish it haha. or maybe something came up and they put it down for a sec and just forgot to come back and finish it?!
Theres a sever lacking of good, christian movie(s), but there are some. Thought Id post a thread to discuss the movies that are out.
I live in GA; and in Albany, GA there is Sherwood Pictures. They have produced Flywheel, Facing the Giants, Fireproof, and are beginning production of Courageous this year ... amazing movies
There really isnt enough christian movies out there,or even legit family movies. even some disney movies have to say at least one cuss word. I think that we should pray about that!!
and the Passion is def a life changing movie and so is end of the spear!!! chronicles of narnia is also one of my very faves :)
So I have been talking to these pretty much amazing people on this forum and we came up with this AWESOME idea, that C28 should basically throw like BIG party or have a reunion and everyone part of the street team should come and share stories on how Christ has worked in their life and how C28 has helped them spread the word of Jesus Christ to others!!
