We all know that Americas founding fathers built "one nation under God" but weve fallen so far from that. Do you think this is still a christian nation? How can we return it to its christian roots?
Im right there with ya!, My uncle is also a Christian and hes a High School art teacher, the first thing he told his class was that he was christian and that played a role in his art. The school staff was livid... they said "did you really have to tell them that?". He didnt get fired and he still talks about Jesus right in class, Go Uncle Jason!,but the school leaders are still annoyed. And I think it all boils down to politics, all these "progressive" leaders are bent on ripping down our faith for fear of "offending" others, I dont know about you guys but I think its time christians get offended! Ok, I might go off on a rant right now, sorry if I do. :) I beileve that due to Obamas supporting of gov. funded abortions (using tax dollars from anti-abortion christians like myself to pay for abortions for those who cant afford them), same-sex marriages,euthanasia, and Doctor assisted suicide, I cant say that Im christian and support Obama so I choose God over the recent prez. Oh, heres something that might make your blood boil (if it doesnt there is something wrong with u, jk :)!) In Obamas pet project Healthcare "reform" It says that a pregnant woman can go to any hospital and ask for an abortion and the doctor has to give it to her, EVEN if the doctor doesnt support abortion he still has to give it to her because she has a "right" to it or someting like that, what about the doctors rights?! Its because of things like this that I cant support Obama.
I like Alpha, I cant imagine being on here if we all agreed with eachother, The differences in belief are some of my fave things about this forum! God loves you Alpha, and Hes callin you to Him!

Everyone asks me who my "valentine" is this year and I always tell them that Jesus Christ is my valentine.lol Might go to the winter fair we have in my town Im in 4-H so its fairly encouraged its over v-day and after that I might go skiing.
I have a pretty urgent prayer request. My friend Jessica told me that her friend, an 18 year old boy named Brent, got beat up pretty heavily yesterday with a 2x4 adorned with nails to the point where he was no longer even recognizable. At this point, they don’t even know if he’s going to make it, so all I ask is that you please pray that he makes it out of this somehow. I do not know him personally, but please, ask God to heal him and take care of his family.. thank you very much.
Ive been playing guitar on and off for three years but Im having trouble being motivated enough to improve my skill. Any ideas on how to motivate myself? any good songs that i could learn (beginning-intermediate) warm up scales? anything?

While there are many passages that emphasize the importance of faith without the mention of works others emphasize the importance of faith AND works: John 10:37-38,James 2:18-26 as James says "faith without works is dead". Yes we can pray people into Heaven from Purgatory 2Maccabees 12:41-46, 2Tim 1:16-18, 1John 5:16. The Priest is the vicar of Christ and absolves us of our sins through confession, Proverbs 28:13, John 20:21-23. Mary is the co-Redemptrix who helped deliver the savior to the world Jeremiah 31:22, Genesis 3:15. Jesus redeems but without Marys "Yes" Jesus would not have been brought into the world. If God is the Father and Jesus the Son then it would stand to reason that Mary would be the Mother. And if Mary is the Mother than she is also a Co-Redemptrix.
