Im involved with my churchs youth ministry program. I am trying to make it more fun so people want to come to it and learn about God. God has dont so much for me that i want to share my faith with others around me. i just want to help people come to fully know Christ. And above all i want to praise the Lord at all times and constantly worship Him. Since He gave me life the least i can do is to praise Him all the time.

alpha: you said that christians "use God as a manipulative crutch to make themselves feel better and do the right thing." why would we willingly put ourselves through persecutions by our friends and family, the people that are supposed to have our back no matter what? everyday, day in and day out, i get made fun of and persecuted for being a Jesus Freak. (even by my own brothers) im a senior in high school and no one understands why i have such a strong faith. but i dont do it for them. i dont do it to make myself feel better. i do because its the right thing to do and i love God with all my heart and i want to spend an eternity with Him. believe it or not He loves you too despite what you may think about him and whether or not you even think Hes real.
Many Christians "dont use the devil as an excuse for their problems." they understand that the people around them and even themselves can be a temptation. its avoiding those temptations that get us closer to the true and holy God. we dont do it because people tell us to. we do it for us. we do it because we believe that is the true life to live. it doesnt matter if thats what you believe. i mean we would like you to join us in our way of life but ultimately thats up to you...

Personally I am a strong creationist. The Bible says "In the beginning GOD CREATED the heavens and the earth.", so that is what I believe. And no, I do not believe that the seven days of creation were actually millions of years long or that God used evolution to create the world.
Theres simply too much evidence for creation to ignore. Our bodies are a fantastic example, with all the complex systems that work together perfectly to keep us alive.
alpha: that attitude that you give off as a facade to show the rest of the world. the attitude that makes you feel superior to us christians. the attitude that you have to debate every little detail about our religion. my question to you is if you are so against it then why do you spend your time on this site? just to get a thrill?
