Please pray for the girl that is receiving the shirt I have purchased. Our youth group has a group of kids that come from....messed up circumstances...in every way shape and from...from poverty...extreme abuse...neglect...ugly stuff....but out of that we have a group that come consistently. Most of them wear hand me downs or clothes given to them, so I presented a challenge to them. If they will learn one Psalm by heart, and then be able to tell me what they feel the Psalm means and to tell me what it means to them, they will get a C28 shirt. Well this girl was the first to rise to the challenge, but she and all of my kids still need prayer. God seems so far for them due to their situations, most of their parents are on drugs. Just pray that God (Jesus) becomes real to them, and works mightily in their lives. That they might begin to see themselves as sons and daughters of the Lord and not as orphans. Pray against the things that oppose the flowing of the spirit. Pray for the parents and for these situations and please pray for the freedom of the spirit to move in these kids lives.
