untitled hey zeke, yeah cameron's my partner in the design stuff. He's such an amazing guy, ephraim is his passion...phenomenal company i love getting the chance to collaborate with Cameron...good things always happen. The new enthos stuff just launched. I'm supposed to start working on some new aphesis designs this month, great company too. Thanks for your encouragement. I'm currently doing some illustrated stuff for August Burns Red and possibly another christian line called Team Self-destruct. untitled wow, i CAN'T STAND Liefeld! and yes to this day his anatomical inconsistencies drive me up the wall. Its fine if your idea of a deltoid has 90 ripples, just make sure it has 90 ripples in the next frame as well. I was BIG Bart Sears fan mainly because of his great anatomy so naturally I harbored utter disdain for Liefeld. Sam Kieth was pretty awesome, before he did Maxx he also illustrated a few issues of Weapon X...a short story on wolverine. He definitely a had a trademark style. I think I still have a copy of Pitt #1....not that its worth anything. I threw some stuff up on emptees where you can see my comic book influence come out. http://emptees.com/people/11662-wearethedesignbakery again, not really my taste but its fun work.

untitled that's hilarious. Growing up I was obsessed with Jim Lee and McFarlane...also Bart Sears. We prolly would've been good friends in High School. My adolescent preoccupation with comics have now served me well now that many of my clients request a similar style...i spend alot of time inking and watching tv. The Lord has been gracious, i really can't complain. I know what you mean about those little balls, but man those poly blends are soooo soft. I have an online portfolio but I really try to avoid spamming this site so I'll refrain from posting it here. I did post it in the comments section of the "all creation groans" submission...its a link to a higher res preview...just go to the root URL.

untitled david. yeah they sent me those two shirts when they got printed. not my favorite style but that's what they were asking for at the time. I liked the garments they printed on though. nowadays i've been spending most of my time illustrating stuff for hot topic type tees. again not my style but it pays the bills. :|

untitled Hey Zeke, thanks for your comment, it made me chuckle..."unsolicited advice," too funny. i know what you mean about scrounging up designs. Most of what i've submitted are old rejects i'm trying to get out the door, some of them are years old. and yes of course they've been GREATLY modified to suit the not so subtle tastes of the community. The elephant design was an old concept for Tom's shoes called "give podo the boot." I try not to invest too much time designing anything specifically for Canvas as most of my submissions aren't "BOLD or DIRECT" enough and get low rated votes. My most recent submissions have been more direct and I suppose I'm guilty of pandering but like you i'm no spring chicken living at "mom & dad's," i've got 2 car payments and a mortgage to pay. If you go to Jedidiah's website you can see some of the stuff i've designed...."Eye for an eye, Broken Hearts, Owl Crest, Bolt Crest, and a few others they've yet to print. I really wanted to do more hand drawn stuff for them but yes...Kelly Murray is their resident artist. you have a website?
