Ive been playing guitar on and off for three years but Im having trouble being motivated enough to improve my skill. Any ideas on how to motivate myself? any good songs that i could learn (beginning-intermediate) warm up scales? anything?
i too was struggling with that a little while ago but what helped me is getting together with other people and playin with them. you could get together with your youth leader and jam for a bit or a friend etc. an awesome song to play (if you like singing) is sound of your name by Above the golden state also, try writing some of your own songs.. you might not be any good but it doesnt hurt to try.
hey everyone. i have a friend ive known forever who ive been praying for to become a christian. we had lost contact and 8 years later (2 years ago) got back in contact and for the last two summers he has come to this christian camp with me (which is a miracle in itself). i was very blessed and i thank God eternally for giving him back to me after 8 years! last summer he said he accepted Jesus. he was reading his Bible more than me all throughout camp, he got up in front of EVERYONE saying what he had decided, prayed with my brother, asked my brother for a Bible of his own (because he had been using my brothers Bible) and asked my mom to email his mom so that it wasnt so much of a shock to her. long story short, i was in a complete state of bliss until a couple weeks ago when he told m he wasnt a christian. he was saying everything opposite to what he was saying and doing at camp. it tore my heart to read those emails and im very concerned for him. please please please pray for him as well as his family! please pray that he would come back to God! and pray for me as well. he is still planning on coming to camp which is really great but i was just really shocked and hurt to find what he had to say. so just please keep us in your prayers. thanks! <3ekah
i have a friend who used to be a christian to but he didnt understand it so he gave up on God but Ill definitely b praying 4 ur friend and his family... hopefully youll be able to talk to him more at that camp.

Not to start debate cause i hate those, i really want to get other Believers in Christ (Christians) my brothers and sisters take on the subject
because i see alot of false hood around and i just wanna bring it back to the bible =]
to start this off i believe that there will be a Rapture( Catching Away of the Saints) before the tribulation, why because the Church only goes up to the 6th chapter of revelations and then it only deals with the Jews, because when i think about the 7 year tribulation its similar if not exactly like the Flood in genesis where people were eating and drinking and then suddenly the End was upon them but while the flood happen to the rest of the world Noah and his family ( Symbol of Believers) were saved by the Ark which is a (symbol of Christ Jesus) in the new testament =] furthermore it would seem strange of God to send His People ("The Church") through a time period that is Meant for those who do not believe in Christ so yeah thats just a little something im pondering cause i really wanna stay on track so please feel free to comment on thiss
i know i dont love debates either but ya i doubt well i dont believe that God would send his own people through the tribulation... have u seen the left behind series? they give a good explanation of the rapture and the 7 years of tribulation.
Its kinda weird how so many people have so many different ideas of the tribulation but i believe in sticking to whatever the bible says...

Personally I am a strong creationist. The Bible says "In the beginning GOD CREATED the heavens and the earth.", so that is what I believe. And no, I do not believe that the seven days of creation were actually millions of years long or that God used evolution to create the world.
Theres simply too much evidence for creation to ignore. Our bodies are a fantastic example, with all the complex systems that work together perfectly to keep us alive.
Im totally with u.. I have always been for creation and pray that I always will. Its crazy that people actually believe this evolution stuff... even if I wasnt Christian I would still think evolution was crazy, I argue with some non Christian friends if mine saying; so u believe that these gases floating in the universe came together to become a planet etc, and where did this universe come from and where did the gases come from? The down side is that they can say; where did God come from? In the bible it says that man will make up other theories of creations and what do u know here came Charles Darwin. Also our bodies are just too complex to be randomly made out of chance.
