Hello, my name is Nicholas, of Augusta, GA. Im just going to be honest: Im a young aspiring musician, I have multiple groups/bands Im a part of, Gospel/Christian of course, and I myself have my own Gospel group & band. However, Im here at home, dealing with a 3 week cold, & just have alot on my mind. Im trying to advance myself in music & in the Kingdom, but its hard because there isnt many people or opportunites here for Gospel musicians to do anything, and if there is, they all see dollar signs, and they do it for themselves. I dont have another job, playing at church is what I have right now, and I hope I havent over-shot me wanting music to be a means of income so early. Although, so many people known me and speak well of me, because I understand its about ministry, not money. Yet, church people see "hollywood" and resort to doing what "hollywood" does to get things in life. Hope Im not too long, I just ask for prayer for me: to be able to find steadyness in my finances, to be a better giver, especially tithing, to be healthier, to lose weight cause Im ashamed of being 300lbs, yet, my wardrobe hides it & people think I look alright, and prayer not to find a church that pays $$$$$ a week, but a chance for me to do what I love, minister through music and song, and be blessed to be able to have that as my life. Its so much, but Im trusting and believing God for everything. Thanks C28 family. Ill be praying for you all as well :-)
