My boyfriend, well technically ex, is going to be getting deployed out to Afghanistan in less than 2 months, and I am scared to death. I dont want anything happening to him. If people can just pray for his safety and that while he is there that he will be a good testimony to God, and pray for me that I dont stress out too much. And overall just for God to keep an eye out for him.
My sister who is 14 was in a serious car accident back in December of 2008 and since then she has been going through a lot! She has a serious brain problem now and she cant live the life of a normal 14 year old. She constantly is going to the doctors mulitple times a week and now she is going through brain therapy. If everyone can just pray for healing I would appreciate it so much!
Has anyone actually met up with each other in person from c28 ? Or did you randomly meet up somewhere ? It would just be great if we could meet up with each other considering some of us are alone, or hardly have any friends and are making good friendships on here =)

I just wondering if anyone went to the 2011 Harvest Crusade. For me, I went on Saturday night in Anaheim. An amazing night indeed, God's presence was felt throughout Angel Stadium. However I did not like the performance from the band 'RED'
So my sister is leaving for Virginia in a week and she is going to attend Liberty University in Lynchburg for three years. Does anyone on here go there or know anyone who does? It is the largest Christian college in the world and in my opinion, the best academically and spiritually.
not asking for anybody's facebook here, but what are your thoughts on christians using facebook?
i bring this up because there are many, many objectionable things about the environment of the facebook website, there are many concerns about privacy, and it can easily become an addictive waste of time. also i am convinced that "socializing" isn't good for those of us who want to be unstained from the world.
also, regarding the fact that "friendship with the world is an enmity to God" - doesn't that mean friendship with the world makes us God's enemy? so why are we "friending" non-christians on facebook?
what other issues do you see with christians using facebook? do you think that christians should not use facebook or should use it with discretion? should we befriend those who hate our God in their hearts?

how do you guys fell about praying to God in tongues? i believe speaking in tongues is a gift from God. i pray in tongues ALL the time! but when i first started i couldnt do it vary long. and after reading brian heads new book. he said how its a gift. and God helps you speak longer. and now i can pray in tongues forever!! if you have ever spoke in tongues you know it sounds CRAZY!! but it brings in the love/spirit of God like no other prayer. and the feeling you get is awesome!!! but some people dont believe in speaking in tongues. do you? tell me what you think!!!
