Cru (Campus Crusade for Christ)...

Hello everyone! So I work with Cru (formerly Campus Crusade for Christ) up at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. I studied architecture there and essentially had the 'college experience.' During my last year and a half I got involved with Campus Crusade (over 1000 students) and rededicated my life to the Lord. During my last year of school, I very strongly felt the Lord calling me into full time missions work with Crusade, helping to bring the gospel to students who had never heard it before. Over the last year, I've gotten to do exactly that. I've been leading a bible study of 12 freshmen guys, discipling 5 of them, and basically trying to help them understand that the gospel is living and alive and that it is constantly at work in us and through us. Overall though, my mission is to help the students I work with grow into men who walk with Jesus for a lifetime. As someone who is on staff with Cru, I have to find a team of people who will partner with me financially and support what I do. That's what I've been trying to do this summer, and unfortunately it hasn't been going well; I'm currently only at about 45% supported. So I'm trying to do everything I can to raise the remaining funds by September 4th, the deadline to be fully funded. I wanted to reach out to the community here, to see if anyone would be interested or able to partner with me either financially or just through prayer. Every little bit helps!
