Yes, I am KingsKid, but I have a different wall now. Well, I am a born-again, fire-filled, Bible-believing girl who is excited about God`s power and love. I am not a perfect girl. I stumble and fall I have struggles I make mistakes. There is Someone, though, Who will always hold my hand, Who will never let me go and will use me for His Plan. His name is JESUS! And I want to live my life for Him everyday. There are so many things in this life that can sidetrack you, but when it`s all said and done, the thing that matters is: What did you do with Jesus?
A couple of other things about me: I am learning German. I love animals. I love to worship God through singing and music. I am nineteen years old. I want to experience the power of God in my life more and more. Don`t be afraid to write on my wall! I want to talk with people. :)
God has a great plan for your life no matter what people tell you. He knows you by name. Be blessed today!
The King of Kings is my Father, so that makes me a King`s Kid!
Favorite Scripture
I have many favourite Scriptures! God`s Word is so wonderful it's really hard to pick, but here are a few of my top favourites:
~"The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in Him." Nahum 1:7 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~"Jesus Christ the same, yesterday and today and forever." Hebrews 13:8 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~"Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Saviour. The Sovereign Lord is my strength he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to go on the heights." Habbakuk 3:18-19 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~"Forget the former things do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland." Isaiah 43:18-19 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, s the Lord. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts." Isaiah 55:8-9

With Love On Your ArmsHi, Kingskid. I am having a great week. I spent time with my brothers and sisters from my youth group and went to purchase a cheap ESV Bible with a nice font. I am also looking forward to being my new creation in Christ. I have found role models (majority of them are my youth leaders) who are inspiring me. My junior yer is coming up and even though I messed up in the past, I will just look forward to the future. I am praying for my family to be saved, especially my mom who I am sure is most likely a believer but has not yet had a relationship with the Lord. How are you doing? By the way, are you about my age or are you done with high school?

Original Prayer Request (posted 11 Months Ago): I just want to thank and praise God for the way He is working things out. I plan to begin teaching piano next fall. He has helped things fall into place so wonderfully! Please praise Him and also pray that He would continue to lead me in this area and show what I need to do.
Hey Ya'll!!! It's been a long time! Opened a new account because I lost my info for the old one! What has everyone been up too! I'm currently about to finish my first year at Bible College. :)
Hey there! Congratulations on finishing your first year of Bible college! What do you have planned for the summer?
I am preparing for a mission trip to Ecuador. I'll be gone for 6 weeks so that will look after most of my summer. :)
Nice to hear from ya.
Need a little advice: So lately I've been feeling like I dont do enough as a Christian. I read the scriptures everday!, pray ALL THE TIME!, attend Church, an I try my absolute hardest to be the best person I can in Gods eyes. But I dont wanna be the "Hey I go to Church, I must be Christian" guy. Like I feel in my heart I AM a good person, but I guess I feel I fail in putting into action how I feel inside to not only better myself, but my family, friends and my Christian community.
Anyone ever feel this way? If so how do I get over it? And by all means I DO NOT mean get over it as in not care, just asking for advice I guess on how I should become a better person/Christian. Thanks!
That book is "Do Hard Things" as well as the book full of practical advice which goes with it, "Start Here". Alex and Brett Harris felt that God was calling them to go above and beyond the norm for young people. God is calling us to do hard things for His glory.
Don't be afraid to step out and do what you feel God calling you to do. Others may think you're strange or even crazy, but you will grow closer to God and have a stronger relationship with Him as you learn to step out in faith and trust Him each and every day. Our walk with God is just that--a WALK. We do not get there all at once, but if we are open to the leading of the Spirit and follow His guiding in our lives, we will mature in our walk with God.
Hi, am just at my wits end and in desperate need of advice from someone who understands. Been married for a year now am a Christian and so is my husband. He keeps looking for opportunities to cheat, chatting up girls on Facebook, he even tried once to meet with someone in the church till I found out. Whenever he does these things n I confront him he gets angry n turns it all on me like am the one whose done something wrong. I've done everything but he won't or can't stop. Watches pornography too,I don't know east to do,I feel trapped and afraid of the future, always thinking he's going to do something really shameful n bad one day. N I don't trust anyone I know to talk to. :(
Yes, I would also advise you to seek counsel from someone you trust, your pastor or another leader in your church. Keep praying and look to God for answers. He cares for you and will always be there for you.
I know tattoos have been talked about before and that sometimes it can lead to arguments. I hope that doesn't happen here all i ask for is opinions. I like tattoos and I have one. It's a tattoo that glorifies God as do all my planned tattoos. I've been thinking about getting one not exactly "religious" though. A tattoo expressing that i'm happy that i'm Mexican. I wouldn't get it to glorify or Idolize it just as a way to show that i'm happy with the ethnicity God gave me. The decision to get it is up to me but as always I'm completely open to your thoughts.
So I was at Mass lastnight an was hearing the word of God, The Book Of Genesis. ? is this: It said "Now let us make Man". Who would "US" be if it was just God making earth at the time? Also correct me if Iam wrong but Moses wrote the first 5 books correct? So iam assuming "us" would be how God spoke to Moses on how to write it?
@Jonathan: "US" refers to the trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. I believe that Moses wrote the first five books of the Bible under divine inspiration from the Holy Spirit.
Id like some advice on how one goes about speaking The Good News as well as teaching The Gospel. I know it can be taught without words, By Alms Giving, Giving Thanks, an even doing good deeds for a stranger. But I've always wanted to "Preach" The Gospel if you will. Where does one start? Iam not talking about Preaching in a Church LOL, but just with people. Also what happens if you try an teach the Good News/Gospel to an individual who does not believe in this? Where would the covnersation go from there LOL?...
Hey guys!
I'm Abigail. Ihave been going to the same church since I can remember. I was raised in church ( :P ) and most of the people who also go are related to me! Small town. My youth group is small, and getting smaller by the week... They don't seem like they're on fire for God! We go to conventions and to camp and we listen to sermons and we pray and worship, and our youth teacher is absolutely amazing and encouraging, but still, it seems like something is blocking the way to God for my youth group. I don't know what it is, either. I see all these local youths who are completwly lost in the Lord, but you can barely get the kids in mine to come to church on a Wednesday night for an hour. I wish that we could all just dive into the ocean of God and never rise for air, but I don't know how to encourage them in that sort of thing. I don't really get along with most of them, and I'm a bit younger than most of them also.
So, I guess I'm just asking for a couple prayers. Please pray that my youth group and myself could just truly get lost in God's love and share His embrace with each other. I want us to be one of those groups that changes the world. And I know how awesome prayer is. Thanks!!
I'm also open to advice.
Abby, revivals start with one person who is willing to be used by God! I'm so happy to hear that you have a heart for your youth group and see the potential that is there once you all work together and look to Jesus. I will pray for you and your youth group and leader. Keep up the prayer. I would encourage you to read these two books Do Hard Things and Start Here, both by Alex and Brett Harris. Everyone on this forum is probably tired of hearing me mention these books.! :P But they are so encouraging for young people and give you practical ideas of serving the Lord and going against the norm on our culture. Keep trusting the Lord to move in your youth group. He will reward those who seek His face. You can't know what amazing things He has in store for you all!
