I have a friend who is going through some tough times right now because a year ago her boyfriend broke up with her basically because she was honest about her views on a certain controversial topic. Its been a year, but shes still really depressed by it and she refuses to even look at other guys as options because she feels like shes somehow not being fair to her ex. I also request prayers for this ex-boyfriend - even though I think he was totally unfair in how he treated her, he still desperately needs prayers because he is not a Christian, and that fact is possibly the main reason my friend is so sad.

The mission trip was a success! Money turned out to not be a problem at all thanks to generous donations from friends and family and a job I was not expecting to get. And of the 15 of us who went, we all came back to the States in perfect health and very happy hearts. Thank you for your prayers!

I am going on a mission trip this summer with my church to East Africa and I am asking for your prayers that the LORD will grant me the finances I need to go (airfare alone is $2,000, and my family isnt as finantially blessed as others...) and also for the safety of myself and the 15 others who are going with me.
