Around December of 2011, I wrote a prayer request to pray for the love of my life, Tyler, who left to basic training. I wanted to thank you all for your prayers and let you know he made it through and graduate on February 17th, 2012. I was fortunate enough to spend the weekend with him and his family. I hope you all continue to pray for him because he has to stay there a bit longer before he leaves. He will either be located in Pensacola (Located in Florida) or Gulfport Battalion Center (Located in Mississippi). He is being held up in medical hold for his seasonal allergies and may switch over to being a "seabee" if he is unable to be in the air crew. Please pray his seasonal allergies dont stop him from being in Pensacola instead of in GBC. Thank you all for your support. Ill keep you in my prayers, just please keep Tyler and his family in yours.

The guy I love left for basic training on December 12th, 2011. He is going into the Navy for 6 years and I dont know the next time he will be back. Before I ask for your prayer request, Ill give you a little background. We have had a rocky year and a half of knowing each other; always a love-hate relationship. But in the end I love him with all my heart and I believe he loves me too. He finally grew up and signed for 6 years with the Navy because he wanted to do something with his life and I wanted him to as well. I am so proud of him, and so are his family. He was adopted when we was younger and hes always been a rebel. He worked his teen life away and was on drugs for a while. I guess he never could accept that he was adopted and claimed that no one loved him or cared for him. He always told me the reason he needed me was because I was the only one who genuinely, without strings attached, cared for him. I do, very much. But I believe his mother loves him and his little sister. His brothers I know care for him, even though they dont show it, I know they do. The last weekend he had here was spent with me. On Saturday night he broke down because he thought about his cousin whom he lost in August. Then he talked about his little sister and how much hes going to miss her and how she doesnt understand why he has to leave. He doesnt show this side; ever. Hard outer shell; fragile inner. That whole deal. But that night, I know he finally came to terms with the fact that he was leaving in two days. His departure finally came and the last words we left off on was "I love you, Ill miss you, See you soon." My prayer is for him and his family. His name is Tyler. Please pray to keep him safe through these next years, pray he sleeps well at night, pray he enjoys it, pray he sees life, and pray that he becomes a better man. I will wait, 6 years or 100, for his return. Right now my focus is only school and soon enough we will be reunited. But i ask you to please pray for his safety and return.Thank you.
