Age difference?

Why do sum people dislike the idea of age differences in relationships, especially when teenagers date someone a little older... maybe 3-6 years older? Does it say anywhere in the Bible it is wrong for a teenage girl to date an older guy? What about 16-year-old and 22-year-old dating?

I personally do not agree with teens dating older men/women. I feel that a teenager is still a teenager - why would anyone at 16 want to be in any sort of a romantic relationship with someone older, anyway? As I just saw the wonderful purity rings here on this website - Love Waits. If an older man or woman wants to date a much younger teenager, I think waiting until they are out of high school to approach the idea is the way to go. The Lord is working in us all day and everyday, a teenager needs that time to be a teen and to learn about her relationship with the Lord before exploring a relationship with someone much older.
