My bio

Hey all :) I'm Ashley, and I'm 19. And I love Jesus. I grew up a pastors kid, and so the whole "church" "Christian" thing was more routine for me in the beginning of my life, but after a lot of junk happened, and I hit rock bottom at that time, and realized what Christ really did for me on the cross when I was 15, and gave my life to Him for real. Went to public school and God did some amazzzing things there by His amazing grace. However, as of about my junior year because of a lot of rough circumstances and things, I've been battling an eating disorder...and it got realy bad this summer and the start of my sophmore year at College, so I had to go, but it's in the light now, and I am currently starting the road to recovery. It's long and so hard...but I know I'm not going at it alone. He's fighting for me <3 And I'm definitely realizinf JUST how amazing, grace is...and what it means to just cry out to Jesus and cling when you have no strength of your own. I want to live for HIM with all of me...not this. My montra of late is a line from Soul Surfer, "I don't need easy...I just need possible." And I know with our God...all things are more than possible. They are certain. He is my deliverer...and I know He will see me through. Though I may want to sometimes...I'm never giving up. Because He is stronger. (Which I have to tell myself every day lol) Oh and I LOVE music (singing, guitar, drums, saxophone) and writing songs and poetry and things like that. :)

Hey everyone...Ive shopped on this site for a few years now....but I never before noticed te prayer board until now...funny enough when Ive most needed prayer in my life. I have and am currently struggling hard core, with an eating disorder (anorexia more specifically) and am in the process of beginning recovery, and getting help, but it a very slow and extremely difficult process. I...could really use prayer for strength, to keep fighting, to hold on and look to God, when its hard and not give up..even if I want to, and hold on and keep walking the journey. That I can let go of control that I think I have, but really dont...because in reality...its controlling me...and choose to, in my heart, give God control. And that He opens doors and I am able to get the help that I need. That I can get into the Christian in patient center were looking at, but ultimately that Gods will be done and, that I can be free and...healed. Know who I am in and to Him. Thank you all so much. <3
