My son and his wife of 17 years have separated. They have come to conclusion that they will be getting a divorce. They have two boys. One pre-teen and one teen. There has been a lot of cheating, lying, and disrespect amongst the family. The eldest boy seems out of control w/his negative behavior and disrespect towards both his parents. He wants nothing to do w/his father who has tried throughout the years to keep his relationship w/his wife and children, civil. My son has moved out of the family home and has tried to start a new life; he has gotten nothing but grief from his wife and kids for it. I think they feel he does not deserve to be happy. Recently, my son was brutally attacked by a stray pit bull who mauled his left arm and ripped his right hand. It was a horrifying experience, to say the least. In the fight for his life, he lost his beautiful brindle boxer who tried to fight off the pit bull but was also severely injured and pit down by the vet. My son is now, as always has been, a great person, husband, father, son. His father and I are very proud of the wonderful and selfless things his done for his family and country. He is still recovering from the injuries caused by the pit bull. Please pray that God help doctors restore the strength in my sons arm, and that his wife and kids realize that he is not the "bad" man he has been made out to be. UPDATE: His younger son did spend a week w/my son soon after the dog mauling. They had a great time. Thank you.
